Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to water meters, metering accessories, communication devices, and associated systems to maintain operational reliability. About the Role In this role, you'll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites. You'll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance—directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar's key infrastructure networks. What You'll Be Doing Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms. Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues. Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing. Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health. Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records. Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations. Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades. What You'll Bring5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus). Coordinate well intervention operations with Production, Petroleum Engineering, offshore teams, and contractors. Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, procedures, and ALARP requirements. Plan personnel, equipment, and materials required for offshore operations. Coordinate the mobilization and shipment of equipment and materials to offshore locations. Monitor offshore operations and ensure activities are carried out according to approved programs. Review daily operational reports and monitor Non-Productive Time (NPT). Manage and monitor well intervention-related contracts and contractor performance. Assess operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation and contingency measures are in place. Participate in operational and coordination meetings as required. Capture and document lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
