We are hiring for our Client: Senior Projects Engineer<br>The Senior Projects Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering all capital projects , including unit renovations, building developments, and capital improvement works. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, from design and tendering through construction and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards under the direct supervision and guidance of the Capital Projects Manager. The position plays a critical role in preserving asset value, supporting operational efficiency, and enabling growth.<br> Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:Project Planning & Capital Program Management:o Manage planning and execution of unit-level renovations to ensure fast turnaround of vacated units where required per PM team requirements an coordination and support of FM team.o Develop and manage the overall capital projects program aligned with THE CLIENT’s priorities.o Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in coordination with internal stakeholders.o Establish detailed project schedules, timelines, milestones, initial estimates, establish business case for all capital works.o Ensure project plans support operational requirements and minimize disruption to tenants. Construction & Project Execution Oversight:o Oversee execution of construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects, new design and construction projects.o Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to project scope, quality, and timelines.o Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.o Ensure proper coordination between contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.o Address project risks, delays, or technical issues proactively. Cost Control & CAPEX Management:o Manage and control the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget across all projects.o Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.o Review and recommend cost variations, change orders, and budget adjustments.o Implement cost control measures to prevent overruns and optimize project value.o Provide regular financial updates, project cost data and CAPEX reports. Quality Assurance & Asset Lifecycle Integration:o Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and technical specifications.o Minimize future maintenance issues through proper design and construction quality control.o Coordinate with the FM Manager to ensure projects align with long-term maintenance strategies.o Ensure proper handover of completed assets, including documentation and as-built records.o Support lifecycle planning by recommending improvements and upgrades to existing assets. Proficiency in MS Office, Project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and reporting tools is preferred. Languages:English fluent. Arabic is preferred. Job Purpose Apply the acquired knowledge and experience in developing methods and processes to prevent, or reduce, the likelihood or frequency of failures in I&E systems and assets.<br>Accountabilities Day to Day Accountabilities: (for I&E Reliability Engineer with major Experience in Electrical) Advise and assist Maintenance I&E Engineers, electricians and production supervisors on complex electrical repairs and troubleshooting methodologies. Develop and implement Reliability strategies by utilizing conventional techniques such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Preventive and Predictive maintenance (PPM) strategies, and other industry accepted reliability techniques to analyse Electrical equipment failures and produce cost effective strategies to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant. Carry out detailed engineering calculations using ETAP (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Protection Relays Selectivity and Coordination) and develop drawings including Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Interconnection drawings, electrical equipment data sheets etc. Implement Mechanical Integrity & Quality Assurance best practices. Work with other concerned departments to develop & execute appropriate Quality Assurance (QA) practices and develop a mechanism to assess the effectiveness of QA practices. Proactively identify Electrical Equipment Reliability Issues and develop engineering solutions for chronic and sporadic equipment reliability problems. Work with technical, production and maintenance departments to implement solutions. Lead Reliability Improvement efforts of the plant from the platform of Reliability Improvement Teams(RITs). Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify various failure modes and recommend strategies to help improve I&E equipment reliability. Evaluate RCA reports, criticality studies, equipment strategies, and risk assessments on equipment to ensure consistency and compliance with company procedures and policies. Evaluate facility incidents that affect reliability and ensure that appropriate RCAs are performed. Assist in tracking RCA findings and completing action items in a timely manner. Reviews equipment specs/designs to ensure equipment can meet reliability objectives. Participate as a technical adviser on capital projects and turnarounds. Participates in the MOCs and PSSRs of new installations to assure adherence to functional specifications. Act as subject matter expert (SME) in performing root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and provides expertise to the RCA teams as required. Review and optimize ITPMs for functionally critical Electrical power distribution equipment. Drive consistency in Electrical equipment design across the site as part of projects review including consistency in maintenance strategies. Provide input as needed on projects to ensure design and reliability issues are considered and addressed on new projects. Provide guidelines to Maintenance in order to ensure that Life Cycle Asset Management processes are complied with throughout the entire life cycle of new and old assets. Champion continuous improvement, fosters relationships between various plant functions to focus on total quality. Monitor, review and analyse MOCs carried out on IPS equipment ensuring proper Modification & Decommissioning requirements are followed as per standard and potential impact to IPS integrity reviewed. Support the Obsolescence Management Program pertaining to IPS equipment. Ensure compliance to Chevron Project Engineering Standards for all changes pertaining to IPS Equipment Ensure Compliance to Qatar Energy Measurement Guidelines Streamline the FSA (Functional Safety Assessment) requirements at the various stages of the SIS Lifecycle Reviews equipment specs/designs to ensure equipment can meet reliability objectives. Participate as a technical adviser on capital projects and turnarounds. Participates in the MOCs and PSSRs of new installations to assure adherence to functional specifications. Act as subject matter expert (SME) in performing root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and provides expertise to the RCA teams as required. Provide critical input to support the development of I&E Reliability Section’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures in order to meet business requirements. Ensure team members comply with all I&E Reliability Section’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment Ensure compliance with Life Critical Procedures, Tenets of Operations, Consent to Operate, plant policies and procedures, Daily Operating Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), MOC Process, and Quality Management System. Participate in the safety activities of the shift to ensure regulatory, health, safety, security, environmental, and quality compliance. Carry out plant walk-downs and audits to ensure work is being performed safely and that the plant safety systems are enabled. Coordinate efforts to correct discrepancies. Actively participate in shift toolbox meetings, JSAs, MSCM’s, etc. Execute Stop Work Authority and take immediate corrective actions to stop unsafe behaviours. Reporting Prepare relevant reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the departmental requirements, policies and standards. Support supervisor in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets. Ensures reliability projects and activities are completed on time and within budget. Report incidents and near misses and participate in investigations as required. Communicate to Supervisor to inform on issues that require additional follow up. Solid understanding of electrical protection system design and intelligent protection relays operation. Experience in failure mode/effect analysis & good understanding of failure mechanisms of Electrical equipment. Troubleshooting techniques and ability to analyze & resolve engineering problems independently. Knowledge of relevant IEC and IEEE Standards and or other well recognized standards. <p><span>The Project Engineer is the hands-on delivery lead for internally managed projects across Place Vendome. The role converts operational needs into defined scopes, coordinated designs, executable work programmes and completed works, with particular emphasis on live-site investigation, stakeholder coordination, field supervision, change control and close-out.</span></p><br> <p><span>The initial focus will include major external traffic-flow, access, parking and internal vehicle-routing initiatives, together with associated wayfinding and signage reorganization. AutoCAD production and stewardship of the Place Vendome (PVQ) drawing archive are essential supporting duties, while the primary accountability remains successful project delivery.</span></p><br> <p><span>Key Responsibilities</span></p><br> <p><span>1. <li><span>Maintain a controlled distinction between concept, review, approved-for-construction and as-built information, preventing obsolete drawings from being used.</span></li>
<li><span>Check consultant and contractor submissions for CAD quality, coordinates, layers, references, completeness and compliance with PVQ standards before acceptance.</span></li>
<li><span>Close every project with verified native CAD files, PDFs, approved changes and accurate as-built drawings; retrieve and issue reliable records promptly to authorized users.</span></li>

<li><span>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.</span></li>
<li><span>At least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years of hands-on responsibility for delivering refurbishment, civil, infrastructure or operational projects.</span></li>
<li><span>Demonstrated project-delivery experience within a complex live commercial asset. Shopping mall, traffic, parking, access, wayfinding or signage experience is strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li><span>Advanced working proficiency in AutoCAD, including confident review and production of coordinated 2D drawings.</span></li>
<li><span>Experience administering drawing registers, CAD archives, document-control workflows and as-built close-out.</span></li>
<li><span>PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project-management certification is preferred. MMUP/UPDA registration may be required where mandated by the assigned professional duties.</span></li>

Job Description<br><br>The Engineer - IT Support is responsible for acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT-related incidents and service requests raised by end users. The role involves receiving requests through multiple communication channels, logging and classifying tickets in the ITSM system, providing first-level remote support, and ensuring timely resolution Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Undertake Reservoir Engineering studies of the Qatar Energy operated offshore Idd El-Shargi field to optimize field development plans as well as analyze reservoir and well performance data, decline curve analysis, pressure transient analysis and material balance.
