We are seeking an experienced CAD Operator – Roads & Highways to join our engineering/design team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in road and highway design, Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and 2D/3D modeling, with the ability to produce accurate and professional engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for Roads & Highways projects using Auto CAD and Auto CAD Civil 3D. Develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, grading plans, construction drawings, and other engineering drawings. Convert engineering notes, specifications, sketches, and design information into accurate working drawings. Prepare general arrangements, layout plans, profiles, cross-sections, structural details, and related design documentation. Work closely with design engineers to develop and finalize drawings for assigned projects. Perform dimensional and routine calculations required for drawing preparation. Check drawing accuracy, layouts, and design details and make necessary corrections. Maintain organized drawing files and ensure proper backup and document control. Review technical manuals, standards, codes, and directives to ensure compliance with project requirements. Develop accurate and detailed 2D and 3D road models using Auto CAD Civil 3D. Ensure drawings comply with CAD standards and ISO 19650 workflows and approval processes. Read and interpret 2D/3D designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings. Manage multiple assignments and deliver drawings within project deadlines. Requirements & Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of Roads & Highways design and modeling experience.
