You will play a key role in promoting a quality-driven culture across all phases of the project.</p><p>What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to the approved Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans and procedures.</li><li>Conducting inspections, tests, and audits on materials, workmanship, and construction processes to verify compliance with specifications and standards.</li><li>Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.</li><li>Reviewing method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), material submittals, and construction drawings for quality compliance.</li><li>Preparing detailed inspection and test reports, quality logs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as required.</li><li>Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are understood and implemented.</li><li>Supporting the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with project requirements and international standards (ISO 9001, etc.).</li><li>Participating in internal and external quality audits and following up on corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Providing training and awareness sessions to project staff on quality-related topics.</li><li>Ensuring proper documentation and traceability of quality records throughout the project lifecycle.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, subject to approval by the Engineer. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality engineering or QA/QC roles, including at least 7 years within the construction or infrastructure sectors in a consulting environment. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, testing procedures, and applicable standards (ASTM, BS, ISO, etc.). Experience with QA/QC systems, tools, and documentation practices in large-scale projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.</p><p>Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is preferred. Experience working on infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage, or public works. Prior experience working in the Gulf region is highly desirable. Knowledge of local construction regulations and quality standards. Arabic language skills are an advantage. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure.</p>
