Ensure that the daily production is evaluated by every Rotating Equipment Supervisor and it is daily loaded in the system. Evaluate the Rotating Equipment Supervisor performance, enhancing their skills and abilities. Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Dismiss Rotating Equipment Supervisors who fail to meet expectations under justified arguments. Check with Rotating Equipment Supervisors that the adequate Subcontractor manpower is available for each task and the labour force allocated on the job is productively used. Rotating Equipment Supervisors will know the Mechanical corporate tools and procedures, and he will use and apply them in the daily work. Report the manpower deployed at Site in a daily basis. Check in advance with Subcontractor that required tools and worksite access (scaffolding, roads, etc.) are available to perform the planned daily activities. Manage the material dispatched to the Subcontractor and ensure its efficient use. Identify proper methods of material handling and preservation to prevent damages or deterioration. Minimize as much as possible the site storages period. Provide on-site coordination with Subcontractor, walk daily all work areas to monitor activities. Validate the FEWOs and contribute with the corresponding information to issue the reliable evidences. If applicable, verify and follow up the compliance and filling of the Work Time Sheets by the Rotating Equipment Supervisors, demanding full accuracy over the hours required to perform the activity. If applicable, validate and follow up the required Vendor assistance man-hours to minimize them for the contractual ones. In no case, the Vendor technician will cover the function and responsibilities of Supervisors because of their negligence or lack of skill/knowledge. The Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Superintendent does not have authorization to be engaged in commercial agreements (subcontracts, change orders, work authorizations). However, he should provide the necessary support to Subcontract Department to identify the Subcontractor deficiencies and negligence of its functions. Ensure that Subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contractual scope of work. Undertake actively the discussions, technical queries and site agreements with Engineering / Client to prevent common topics (accessibility, typical, etc.) suffered in previous Projects as to increase production and reduce reworks. To provide specialized mechanical engineering expertise that strengthens troubleshooting, integrity assurance, and lifecycle performance of mechanical systems across the fleet, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations.<br>Mechanical Technical Governance & Standards<br>- Establish and maintain mechanical engineering standards aligned with OEM, Class, Flag State, and regulatory requirements<br>- Approve mechanical-related maintenance procedures, job plans, and work scopes in accordance with asset‑ management governance<br><br>- Monitor adherence to mechanical integrity standards across all rigs and escalate significant deviations to the Corporate Asset Manager / Head of Maintenance<br><br><br>Mechanical Equipment Reliability & Troubleshooting<br>- Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for critical mechanical systems (rotating equipment, engines, pumps, cranes, hydraulics)<br>- Guide rig-based teams in root‑ cause analysis and ensure corrective actions address underlying failure modes<br><br>- Partner with Technical Superintendents to resolve high‑ impact downtime events and validate recovery plans<br><br><br>Maintenance Strategy, Planning & Execution Oversight<br>- Review and recommend mechanical PM strategies, task lists, and maintenance intervals based on risk, performance history, and OEM requirements<br>- Validate CMMS job plans, BOMs, and planned maintenance workflows, ensuring data accuracy and consistency<br><br>- Ensure maintenance execution meets safety‑ critical system requirements and equipment performance standards<br><br><br>Mechanical Integrity, Certification & Compliance<br>- Conduct mechanical integrity audits covering pressure systems, lifting equipment, rotating machinery, and hydraulic components<br>- Verify and confirm certification currency for critical mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with class, flag state, API, and regulatory inspection requirements<br><br>- Identify mechanical risks, document non‑ conformities, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions<br><br><br>Projects, Modifications & Capital Improvements<br>- Provide technical direction for mechanical upgrades, overhauls, and CAPEX initiatives<br>- Review vendor proposals, engineering deliverables, and project scopes for compliance with technical standards<br><br>- Review and recommend approval of mechanical design changes and hardware modifications through the Management of Change (MOC) process<br><br><br>Spares, Lifecycle Management & Reliability Improvement<br>- Analyze critical spare requirements, obsolescence risks, and stock requirements with Supply Chain, Procurement and Planning<br>- Recommend fleetwide reliability improvements and lead initiatives to eliminate repeated mechanical failures<br><br>- Support long‑ term lifecycle planning and mechanical asset replacement recommendations<br><br><br>Technical Documentation, Reporting & Data Governance<br>- Ensure mechanical drawings, manuals, and certifications are maintained accurately within controlled repositories<br><br>- Issue mechanical integrity reports, audit findings, technical advisories, and troubleshooting summaries to Corporate Asset Manager / Head of Maintenance<br><br>- Maintain high quality data for mechanical assets within the CMMS and engineering records

Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance activities, including equipment overhauling, bearing and mechanical seal replacement.</p><br><br><p>2. Experience working with centrifugal, vertical, submersible, and dosing pumps.</p><br><br><p>3. Hands-on experience in the assembly and disassembly of plug valves, butterfly valves, and check valves.</p><br><br><p>4. Knowledge of laser alignment, dial gauge measurements, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.</p><br><br><p>5. Knowledge of pump vibration analysis and predictive maintenance techniques, with hands-on experience in the assembly and disassembly of compressors and motors.</p><br><br><p>6. Working experience with PVDF and CPVC materials.</p><br><br><p>7. Experience in RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems is optional but will be considered an added advantage.</p><br><br><br><p><strong>Commissioning Experience</strong></p><br><br><p>Inspect, commissioning, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, compressors, and piping systems.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Inspection: </strong>Experienced in inspecting mechanical equipment and piping systems for proper installation, alignment, connections, and readiness for commissioning.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Commissioning: </strong>Hands-on experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, compressors, and piping systems, including functional testing and start-up.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Troubleshooting: </strong>Skilled in identifying and resolving mechanical issues such as vibration, leakage, overheating, misalignment, and performance problems.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Repair & Maintenance: </strong>Experienced in dismantling, repair, component replacement, reassembly, alignment, and functional testing of mechanical equipment.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Overhauling: </strong>Capable of overhauling pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and valves, including replacement of bearings, seals, and worn components.</p><br><br><p>* <strong>Piping Systems: </strong>Experienced in piping inspection and commissioning activities, including pressure testing, flushing, valve checks, and line-up verification.</p><br><br><br>
