Be a primary contributor to the intellectual property position of the company via invention disclosures and prototypes to demonstrate reduction to practice. Interact with physicians to assist with product demonstrations and product testing. Effectively document work throughout the development process though design reviews, manufacturing instructions, test methods, and test reports. Expertise in design and development of medical devices. Expertise in electromechanical and mechanism design of durable medical devices. Substantial experience in design of higher volume disposable components. Substantial experience in design for molding and machining. Substantial experience in design for manufacturing. Pilot production experience. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>The QA/QC Engineer provides professional technical guidance with full responsibility and accountability for ensuring effective implementation of the Quality Management System across all Offshore Department activities. <br></span><p>The Mechanical Project Engineer - Facilities Management provides operational, technical, and functional leadership across facilities management activities while ensuring alignment with organizational standards, business objectives, and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for driving performance, coordination, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery within the mep operations function. The position supports continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes while collaborating closely with internal teams, contractors, clients, and business stakeholders.</p><br><br><br><u><b>Job Responsibilities 1</b></u>
<br>Operational Management: Manage day-to-day mep operations activities within the facilities management environment to ensure efficient execution, compliance with procedures, and achievement of operational targets while maintaining service quality and productivity standards.
Planning and Coordination: Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, contractors, and operational activities to ensure timely completion of tasks, projects, and deliverables in line with approved timelines and business requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and operational teams to ensure smooth communication, issue resolution, and alignment on technical and operational requirements.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, HSE requirements, and industry best practices applicable to the facilities management sector.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service standards, and quality benchmarks while identifying gaps, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare operational reports, technical records, progress updates, cost analyses, and management presentations to support decision-making, audit readiness, and business transparency.
Resource Optimization: Support efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, budgets, materials, and operational resources to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operational costs.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify operational risks, technical challenges, delays, and performance issues while implementing mitigation measures and escalation processes to minimize business impact.
Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure services, deliverables, and operational outputs meet company and client expectations.

Reports To: Operations Engineering Manager Company: Qatar Fabrication Company Location: Ras Laffan / Qatar<br>**PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES**<br>Primary Functions This position will prepare cost estimates for bidding multimillion dollar worth Oil and Gas Projects.<br>Tasks and Responsibilities Review customer/Bid tender package to fully understand SWO, specifications and schedule. Raises clarifications where necessary. Reviews and understands contract price form, clarifies unit rate and lump sum breakdown. Understands planned bid strategy, build sequences and methods to execute the scope of work from operations engineer. Issues technical execution plan. Request and Coordinates inputs from Operations / Production / Shop Engineers, Yard Superintendents, Planning, Welding Engineers, QA/QC, Construction Support Engineering, Procurement. Checks if any new equipment Is required to execute work. Obtains cost by liaising with Procurement. Prepares RFQ for scope that cannot be executed inhouse and issues to Procurement to obtain subcontractor quotes. Performs RFQ Bid Evaluations and selects subcontractor with competitive pricing. Performs quantity take-offs, determines workforce, rental equipment, and material cost. Prepares detailed estimates in accordance with the scope of work based on standard rates, historical performance or first principle. Compiles the overall estimates. Conducts reviews with management to finalize estimates. Ensure Bid estimates are fully approved and signed off by all. Records all basis of Bid estimate in a formal document. Records all communication, assumptions done at Bid in a manner that same can be easily referred during later date (at execution). Maintains historical records of estimates. Compiles actual performance of repeated works performed in yard and works out benchmarks to be considered for bidding purpose. Compares actuals to estimates and understands reasons for variance. Recommends benchmarks revision where necessary. Takes lead on new initiatives, developments, and suggestions from management to improve.<br>Qualifications, Experience and Skills Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Structural Engineering or equivalent<br>Experience: 5+ Years in offshore construction involving structures like jackets, topsides, bridges. Understand components, construction methods and processes.<br>Skills: Ability to read Engineering Drawings. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Well versed in working with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, PDF, and computer applications. Ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage changes (internally or externally imposed).
