Assistant Farm Manager – Livestock & Vegetation<br>Job Summary<br>We are looking for an experienced Assistant Farm Manager to support the day-to-day management of a farm with both livestock and vegetation/crop operations. The role will assist in supervising farm activities, livestock care, crop and plantation maintenance, irrigation, farm workers, equipment, and general farm operations while ensuring productivity, hygiene, safety, and proper resource utilization. Key Responsibilities<br>Livestock Management Assist in managing daily livestock operations, including feeding, watering, cleaning, handling, and monitoring of animals. Monitor animal health, behavior, growth, nutrition, and general condition. Coordinate with veterinarians regarding vaccinations, treatments, breeding, and disease prevention. Maintain proper livestock housing, hygiene, sanitation, and biosecurity standards. Monitor feed, fodder, supplements, medicines, and livestock-related inventory. Maintain accurate records of animal numbers, births, deaths, vaccinations, treatments, breeding, and production. Identify signs of illness, injury, stress, or abnormal animal behavior and report them promptly. Assist with breeding, calving/lambing/kidding, weaning, and other livestock activities as applicable. Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for the Farm Manager. Relevant experience in farm operations involving both livestock and vegetation/crop management. Experience supervising farm workers and coordinating daily agricultural activities. Practical knowledge of livestock handling, animal care, feeding, breeding, and basic health monitoring. Knowledge of irrigation, planting, fertilization, pest control, harvesting, and vegetation maintenance. Basic understanding of farm machinery, equipment, and irrigation systems. Good record-keeping and reporting skills. Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor farm environment. Preferred Experience Experience working on large farms, farmhouses, agricultural estates, or private/villa farms.
