<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>Plant Operation &amp; Process Control</p><p>• Operate and monitor SWRO plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems.</p><p>• Control plant parameters such as:</p><p> o Intake and pretreatment systems</p><p> o DAF and ultrafiltration units</p><p> o High-pressure pumps</p><p> o RO trains</p><p> o Chemical dosing systems</p><p> o Product water and distribution systems</p><p>• Respond to alarms and process deviations.</p><p>• Take corrective actions to maintain stable operation.</p><p><br></p><p>Monitoring &amp; Reporting</p><p>• Record operational data and prepare shift reports.</p><p>• Monitor water quality parameters.</p><p>• Analyze plant performance trends.</p><p>• Maintain accurate operational logs.</p><p><br></p><p>Coordination</p><p>• Coordinate with field operators during plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.</p><p>• Supervise field activities from the control room.</p><p>• Communicate operational changes to maintenance and operations teams.</p><p><br></p><p>Maintenance Support</p><p>• Assist maintenance teams during troubleshooting and equipment isolation.</p><p>• Participate in calibration of instruments and process equipment.</p><p>• Support preventive maintenance activities.</p><p><br></p><p>Safety &amp; Compliance</p><p>• Follow HSE procedures and permit-to-work requirements.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with environmental and water quality regulations.</p><p>• Report abnormal conditions immediately.</p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><p>• Diploma or Degree in:</p><p> o Chemical Engineering</p><p> o Mechanical Engineering</p><p> o Electrical Engineering</p><p> o Process Technology</p><p> o Water Treatment Technology</p><p>• Technical or trade qualification with relevant desalination experience may also be accepted.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience Requirements</p><p>• Typically 3–5 years or more in:</p><p> o SWRO desalination plants - 50 MLD or above</p><p> o Water treatment plants</p><p> o Wastewater treatment plants</p><p> o Process industries (chemical, power, oil &amp; gas)</p><p>• Experience operating DCS, SCADA, PLC systems.</p><p>• Knowledge of water treatment chemistry and chemical dosing systems.</p></div>
