This is a key role responsible for processing, validating, and quality checking pavement condition data while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical excellence across pavement survey projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, validate, and analyze pavement condition data collected from automated survey systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of pavement data, identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and maintain high-quality documentation throughout project delivery.

Audio Visual (AV) Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the configuration, programming, testing, calibration, and successful handover of audio-visual solutions in various environments, ensuring that all systems meet project specifications and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Commission AV systems (audio, video, lighting, and control), ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all components. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and fault resolution to maintain functional, high-quality AV installations. Calibrate audio and video devices (speakers, microphones, displays, projectors, and cameras) for best sound and visual quality. Collaborate with designers, programmers, and project managers for smooth project delivery and system optimization. Document the commissioning process, including system configuration, test results, and any modifications. Provide training to clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance. <p>Guildhall is currently supporting a leading engineering company in Doha, Qatar on major road infrastructure and pavement asset management projects. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pavement Data Collection / Processing Engineer to join their growing team. This is a key role responsible for processing, validating, and quality checking pavement condition data while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical excellence across pavement survey projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, validate, and analyze pavement condition data collected from automated survey systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of pavement data, identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and maintain high-quality documentation throughout project delivery.
- Conduct pavement condition assessments, evaluate pavement distresses, and support pavement asset management in accordance with ASTM D6433, LTPP, and PCI standards.
- Utilize LCMS-2, ROMDAS, Data View, PMS, and GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS) to process, manage, and visualize pavement survey data.
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare technical reports, provide project updates, and support the successful delivery of pavement engineering projects.</p><p>-Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline
-5–10 years of experience in pavement engineering, pavement condition assessment, or pavement asset management
-Strong experience in QA/QC of processed pavement condition data and pavement distress rating
-Hands-on experience with LCMS-2 is essential
-Experience reviewing and validating pavement distress data, including cracking, rutting, ravelling, bleeding, texture, and roughness
-Good understanding of ASTM D6433, LTPP, and pavement condition rating systems (PCI preferred)
-Familiarity with ROMDAS, Data View, or similar pavement data processing software
-Experience with Pavement Management Systems (PMS) is highly desirable
-GCC or international pavement survey project experience is preferred
-Experience with ARAN, Hawkeye, or other pavement data collection systems is an advantage
-Knowledge of ArcGIS or QGIS is beneficial
-Basic Python or R scripting skills for data validation or automation are a plus</p>
Overview<br><br>Participate in building and design of a comprehensive reporting mechanism across the corporate to cover all external and internal reporting and dashboard requirements for Operations in Assets affairs including drainage operations and maintenance. This is a key role in ensuring that The Authority remains a risk aware and resilient organization.<br><br>Your role<br><br>Play the lead role in ensuring the Ashghal Vision and Values becomes part of the culture of the Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance Department. Provide an ongoing review of objectives, Risks, KPIs and take actions for development and improvement. Ensure that the Department's plans and performance are within the approved budget and timescales by reviewing progress reports on the Department's performance as and when needed. Ensure that highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity are maintained during the execution of the responsibilities. Advise and support the technical office manager by providing expert technical, strategic and operational advice on all aspects of Asset management (Drainage). Advise on improvements on risk management, operational output and performance to achieve organization strategic goals related to drainage assets. Represent technical office manager in Assets meeting related to (Drainage) issues with technical experts with internal and external stakeholders. Support in building complete KPis for Operations and assets management (Drainage). Review and advice technical office manager for issues related to Assets Affairs and handover process and support decision making process within technical office.<br><br>About You<br><br>Mandatory requirements<br><br>University degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as Engineering or Business or equivalent. Chartered status or Professional License from internationally recognized professional institutions or organizations. Minimum of 20 years postgraduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes. Preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience,15 years in similar position, and 5 years in Qatar and / or the Gulf region. Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong problem solving skills, relationship management and communication skills.<br><br>Desirable Requirements<br><br>Masters degree in project management, road operations , KPI or strategy.
