Role Purpose<br><br>The Data Engineering Consultant designs, builds and supports reliable data pipelines, integrations and services for client data and analytics solutions. The role converts approved architecture, business requirements and governance controls into tested technical components that move, transform and deliver data with appropriate quality, metadata, lineage, security and operational monitoring.<br><br>The consultant works with architects, analysts, platform teams, security specialists and client system owners throughout design, development, testing and transition. Witness painter and blaster qualification tests conducted by paint manufacturers and evaluate associated test results. Verify implementation of the approved inspection system for surface preparation, painting, and wrapping activities through established Hold Points within the work schedule. Ensure work does not proceed beyond Hold Points without formal approval from the responsible Project Engineer. Monitor in-process inspections of offshore steel structure fabrication and topside facility construction at contractor fabrication yards and verify compliance with corporate standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards. Report daily to the QA/QC Engineer and advise on contractor compliance with contractual procedures, specifications, quality standards, and any issues affecting quality performance. Ensure coating inspection activities are performed in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and relevant international standards. Review coating procedures, method statements, quality records, and inspection reports for compliance with project requirements. Witness and verify environmental condition measurements, surface preparation inspections, coating application inspections, dry film thickness (DFT) measurements, adhesion testing, holiday testing, and coating repair inspections. Verify that painting and coating materials are stored, handled, and applied according to manufacturer recommendations and project specifications. Monitor and verify contractor compliance with quality requirements for protective coating systems applied to onshore and offshore facilities. Ensure all inspection records, reports, and quality documentation are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with project quality requirements. Identify quality issues and non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
