This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouse villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.</p>
<p>We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our Cluster Sales team at Four Seasons Hotels Qatar, representing Four Seasons Hotel Doha and Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl Qatar. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales and plays a key role in driving revenue performance across both properties.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Administer the sales program of the hotel.</li>
<li>Implement all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Commercial plan.</li>
<li>Actively participate in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the hotel's budgets.</li>
<li>Solicit from assigned local corporate, long stays, group, and leisure segments for rooms, food & beverage business, banquet business and all hotel business from sales activities.</li>
<li>Write strategic sales action plans for assigned local corporate, long stays, group, and leisure segments.</li>
<li>Closely monitor accounts revenue and business productions.</li>
<li>Maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.</li>
<li>Attend related work functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promote sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the hotel.</li>
<li>Plan sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales or Commercial Director to major market areas, calling on accounts within the specific market areas. The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales on potential markets which need coverage.</li>
<li>Review direct competition and conduct regular research.</li>
<li>With the assistance of the office supporting staff, keep and maintain the hotel database and Central Information System in the most efficient and effective manner.</li>
<li>Complete weekly Golden S&C sales calls report.</li>
<li>Maintain an up-to-date record of all account corporate profiles on Golden S&C.</li>
<li>Conduct telemarketing and research from internet and internal resources to qualify accounts.</li>
<li>Project a professional image when representing the hotel.</li>
<li>Host corporate familiarization groups, hotel tours, attend trade shows or sales trips, webinars and assist colleagues whenever deemed necessary.</li>
<li>Handle any duties as designated by the Director of Sales.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications.</li>
<li>Strive to meet or exceed sales targets set by the Director of Sales.</li>
<li>Carry out the day-to-day sales activities in local corporate, long stays, group, and leisure segments for rooms under the set policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Develop new accounts by mapping specific business and buying tendencies.</li>
<li>Conduct site inspections.</li>
<li>Maintain close communication with the Meetings and Events team in the group process of their accounts.</li>
<li>Attend the pre-event meeting and post-event meeting as required, chaired by Meetings and Events team.</li>
<li>Cross-sell other sister properties, F&B, vouchers, SPA whenever possible.</li>
<li>Liaise with all WSOs to generate and follow up on potential sales leads.</li>
<li>Responsible for the training and development of other junior corporate and commercial sales staff to the finest professional standard and lead by example.</li>
<li>Create and execute direct sales plan specific for new business development.</li>
</ul>
<h4>What you bring:</h4>

<li>Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts in a similar role.</li>
<li>A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and third parties in a manner that consistently reflects Four Seasons brand values.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Strong bilingual writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.</li>
