Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Perform studies, develop, evaluate, initiate and plan infrastructure projects to ensure<br><br>that all Electrical Infrastructure within Industrial Cities Directorate area including Ports<br><br>are in place to accommodate the anticipated growth of existing and future Asset<br><br>Operators / Business Partners / Industries. Responsible to provide guidance and<br><br>support for Asset Operators / Business Partners Project development on common and<br><br>shared Electrical related Infrastructure facilities within Industrial Cities.<br><br>Coordinate and liaise actively with concerned Asset Operators / Business Partners,<br><br>Qatar Energy Surface Development, KAHRAMAA (KM) and other stakeholders to<br><br>identify and develop synergy opportunities, formulate the necessary conceptual<br><br>studies, development plans, projects concepts, engineering plans, project execution<br><br>plans and related activities.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 10 years’ experience in design, engineering and construction of Electricarelated major infrastructure and facilities projects within the Oil & Gas and / or Petrochemical industry (preferably with 8-10 years with consulting / engineeringfirm).<br><br>Exposure and experience in project lifecycle and project management with highsupervisory skills.<br><br>Exposure to international experience and an appreciation of cultural sensitivities.<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to serve as a technical authority for enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, automation, security, and modern data environments. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IT infrastructure and systems engineering experience, including 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Dev Ops. This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, Linux/Windows administration, virtualization, databases, Kubernetes, security, and disaster recovery. Key Responsibilities Architect and manage enterprise environments across Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Cent OS). Perform advanced Linux administration, kernel tuning, Bash/Python scripting, and security hardening using SELinux/App Armor. Manage and troubleshoot VMware v Sphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. Design and implement Microsoft Azure Iaa S/Paa S, Azure networking, SDN, Hub-and-Spoke architecture, Entra ID, and cloud governance. Develop and standardize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure Bicep. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions. Automate system administration and configuration management using Power Shell and Ansible. Manage and optimize MS SQL, Kafka, and Mongo DB platforms, including high availability, replication, sharding, and disaster recovery. Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including autoscaling and service reliability. Implement security controls aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST standards. Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation using Qualys or Tenable. Oversee enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas. Maintain technical architecture documentation, SOPs, configuration standards, and infrastructure diagrams. Follow ITIL v4 practices for incident, problem, change, and asset management. Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and technical initiatives. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex infrastructure and architectural challenges. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is highly preferred. Minimum 10+ years of IT infrastructure and systems engineering experience. Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Dev Ops. Expert knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments. Strong experience with VMware v Sphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. Extensive knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, governance, and cloud architecture. Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Azure Bicep. Strong experience with Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions. Hands-on experience with MS SQL, Kafka, and Mongo DB. Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience. Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, vulnerability management, patching, and security hardening.
