<p>Lead and manage the site-based Health, Safety and Welfare teams across both work packages. Oversee the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of the project Health, Safety and Security Management system and plan in accordance with ISO 45001:2018, local legislation, applicable regulations and Authority requirements. Review and approve the Contractors Health, Safety and Security Management plans, procedures, risk assessments and method statements for compatibility with the project requirements. Monitor construction activities, occupational health and safety performance, welfare conditions and compliance with approved plans, procedures and permit-to-work requirements. Raise safety observations and notices where required and advise the Senior Site Representative where Non-Conformance Reports or Stop Work Notices are appropriate. Monitor and track safety observations, notices, inspection actions and corrective measures through to satisfactory closure. Undertake trend analysis of safety observations, recurring incidents, near misses and non-compliances, and propose appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Lead or assist with accident and incident notification, investigation, reporting, lessons learned and close-out of remedial actions. Attend regular Health, Safety and Welfare meetings and coordinate, compile and submit monthly reports, statistics and KPI information. Liaise with the client, Project Manager and Contractor representatives to maintain safe working conditions and operations on site.
