Coordinate with EPCC Contractor and internal teams to ensure timely completion of engineering inputs required for commissioning. Support training and technical readiness of Company teams for commissioning and start-up activities. Coordinate engineering interfaces between internal departments (Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Procurement) and EPCC Contractor. Support the Interface Team in technical review of spare parts, tie-in readiness, and resolution of interface-related issues. Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with interface milestones and external authority requirements. Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance with EPCC Contract requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA, and 3D model reviews, and ensure closure of action items. Support identification and tracking of engineering-related risks and contribute to the Project Risk Register. Ensure engineering activities comply with Environmental Impact Assessment, HSE, and quality requirements. Report deviations and support mitigation planning in coordination with the Head of Engineering. Oversee design and configuration of control systems including DCS, SIS, PLCs, and SCADA. Review control philosophies, system architecture, logic diagrams, and interface requirements. Coordinate integration of automation systems with plant operations and safety systems. We are extremely proud to contribute to the rapid development of Qatar’s economy in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.<br><br>To support the continued development and operations of the company, we are looking to fill the position of Senior Back Office Sales Coordinator within the Sales Department.<br><br>GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ROLE<br><br>The Senior Back Office Sales Coordinator provides comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Sales function.<br><br>The role manages the sales process from the receipt of customer inquiries through quotation and tender preparation, order processing, delivery coordination, payment follow-up, document control, and after-sales support.<br><br>The position works closely with Front Office Sales, customers, and internal departments to ensure that commercial activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.<br><br>MAKING AN IMPACT<br><br>Review customer technical specifications and prepare Sales Inquiry Sheets for submission to the Technical Department. Coordinate with Finance on price-list updates and prepare commercial offers with all required supporting documents. Ensure that bids, estimates, quotations, and tenders are complete, accurate, properly documented, and submitted on time. Work closely with the Technical and Sales teams to maintain updated price lists. Prepare customer qualification files, vendor-registration documents, brochures, and other commercial documentation. Coordinate document-control activities for customer inquiries, tenders, contracts, sales orders, and project correspondence. Ensure proper document filing, version control, traceability, confidentiality, and timely retrieval. Collect and analyze the reasons for quotations and tenders being won or lost. Prepare relevant commercial reports and provide feedback to the Sales team. Use sales tools and systems effectively to record, monitor, and track opportunities, quotations, orders, and customer commitments. Prepare sales orders, invoices, credit-limit requests, and other related documentation. Coordinate delivery arrangements and follow up on customer payment collection. Maintain accurate and updated project and order-status records. Communicate progress, risks, assumptions, and decisions to the Sales team and customers. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, including customers within the Oil & Gas sector. Ensure compliance with customer-specific documentation, tendering, vendor-registration, and commercial requirements. Provide a positive customer experience throughout the quotation, order, delivery, and after-sales process. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned. <br><br><br>What You Bring To The Job<br><br>University or college degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related discipline. Document Control certification is required. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Sales Back Office, Sales Coordination, Tendering, or Commercial Support. Relevant experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. Experience supporting and coordinating the requirements of Oil & Gas sector customers. Knowledge of tender preparation, vendor registration, sales-order processing, and document-control requirements. Fluent written and spoken English. Excellent communication, business-writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or document-management systems is an advantage. Strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and follow-up skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and document-control discipline. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion. Proactive, customer-focused, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
