years of leadership experience in a Primary or comparable school setting.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading student wellbeing, behavior management, attendance, or pastoral Job Summary <br> <p>The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Financial Institutions and strengthening correspondent banking relationships by fostering new correspondent banking alliances; the incumbent will ensure the extension of the Group’s reach to the different geographical areas of the world.</p><br> <br> <br><br> Main Responsibilities <br> <p>A. Shareholder & Financial: </p><br><ul><li><p>Assist in the implementation of the strategies and plans to achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets. </p><br></li><li><p>Support the SVP, FI & CB Relations in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance monitoring and quality measurement of the Financial Institutions Unit and monitor their achievements on periodic basis. </p><br></li><li><p>Meet and exceed target budgets for new and existing Financial Institutions relationships comprising placements, borrowings and loan syndications, etc., for the Financial Institutions Unit, in accordance with QNB’s overall </p><br></li></ul><p>Division budget and strategy. </p><br><ul><li><p>Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency, and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize benefits for the bank </p><br></li><li><p>Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent </p><br></li><li><p>Implements KPI’s and best practices for Vice President, Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking Relations role. </p><br></li><li><p>Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank </p><br></li></ul><p>B. Customer (Internal & External): </p><br><ul><li><p>Ensure provision of superior customer service through building lasting relationships with financial correspondents. </p><br></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong and effective relationships between QNB Group and counterparties; hands on coordination between various QNB International branches and subsidiaries on global FI relationship; </p><br></li><li><p>Partner and coordinate with other divisions in the Bank and international branches and subsidiaries when recommending relationships with counterparty banks and influencing them in enhancing their scope of business with QNB; </p><br></li><li><p>Assist the SVP, FI & CB Relations to develop and manage relationships with correspondent banks. Periodic travels to visit counterparty banks internationally to market QNB as the Bank of Choice in Qatar and the Region and support international branches within their geographical areas; </p><br></li><li><p>Monitors the periodical P&L for the dept., for Nostro/Vostro, treasury related and other income and expenses directly linked with counterparties FIs from QNB Doha as well as the international branches; </p><br></li><li><p>Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/ units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. </p><br></li><li><p>Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and </p><br></li><li><p>Risk Functions as and when required. </p><br></li></ul><p>C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): </p><br><ul><li><p>Support SVP, FI and CB Relations on business development, credit recommendation (increasing/ decreasing lines of credit etc.), and relationship management for selected local, regional, and international banks and other specialized financial institutions. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure the existence of adequate and approved policies/ procedures to guide staff in their day-to-day activities and to ensure compliance with the same. </p><br></li><li><p>Manage the Financial Institutions’ credit portfolio on overall basis to ensure targets are met, corrective measures implemented on timely basis and to gauge the quality and performance of the portfolio. </p><br></li><li><p>Approve credit proposals that are within the incumbent’s delegated powers and submit those which exceed his approval authority to the higher approving authority. </p><br></li><li><p>Identify and timely report on all negative events and early signals on potential problematic accounts/relationships. </p><br></li><li><p>Continuously scan/ monitor reports from external rating agencies to identify significant up gradation/ downgrading of financial institutions and determine the impact of the same upon existing FI relationships. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure annual reviews of Financial Institutions are conducted on timely basis. </p><br></li><li><p>Supervise the compilation of the report on annual reviews of Financial Institutions to be presented to executive management and the Board for deciding on facility renewals.</p><br></li><li><p>Implement the approved Relationship Management strategy within the unit to achieve the business objectives. </p><br></li><li><p>Provide technical expertise and guidance to Relationship Officers to ensure their credit proposals address all relevant risk factors and meet minimum acceptable standards. - Assist the SVP, FI & CB Relations in managing some of the Bank’s international projects such as the Annual IMF </p><br></li><li><p>Meetings and SIBOS Expos - Undertake specific financial institutions projects as assigned from time to time. </p><br></li></ul><p>D. Learning & Knowledge: </p><br><ul><li><p>Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved staff grievances or conflicts within the team. </p><br></li><li><p>Possess a prominent knowledge of Financial Institution related business and correspondent relationships with a good knowledge of operations and control. </p><br></li><li><p>Identify areas for professional development of self and other staff. </p><br></li><li><p>Seek out opportunities to remain current with all developments in professional field </p><br></li></ul><p>E. The Team Leader also drives ticket quality, shift discipline, knowledge management, operational reporting, team capability and continuous service improvement.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br> Lead and supervise the NOC team during assigned operations and ensure effective 24x7 service coverage, shift readiness, workload allocation and proper handover between shifts. Ensure continuous monitoring of customer infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud services, applications and other in-scope configuration items using approved monitoring and observability platforms. Act as the first operational and technical escalation point for NOC engineers and provide guidance for event validation, troubleshooting, impact assessment, ticket classification and escalation. Lead the NOC response for P1/P2 and other major incidents, ensuring immediate engagement of the correct resolver teams, timely management escalation, stakeholder communication and service restoration within agreed SLA. Ensure all actionable alerts and customer-reported issues are logged accurately in the ITSM platform, correctly categorized and prioritized, assigned to the appropriate support group, updated throughout the lifecycle and properly closed. Monitor SLA performance in real time and proactively intervene on tickets approaching response, update or resolution thresholds; escalate risks before SLA breach wherever possible. Maintain ownership of incidents from detection through restoration from the NOC coordination perspective, including technical follow-up, vendor/resolver engagement and confirmation that monitoring has returned to normal. Ensure strict adherence to Incident, Event, Major Incident, Change, Problem and Service Request procedures, escalation matrices, communication protocols, SOPs and customer-specific operational requirements. Coordinate approved changes and planned maintenance activities from the NOC perspective, validate monitoring impact, track execution status and ensure required start, progress, completion, rollback or extension communications are issued. Review ticket quality, event-to-ticket compliance, troubleshooting evidence, timelines, work notes, assignment accuracy and closure information; coach engineers on identified quality gaps. Prepare and validate shift, daily, weekly and monthly operational inputs covering major incidents, SLA/KPI performance, alert volumes, recurring events, escalations, service risks and improvement actions. Maintain accurate shift handover records, operational logs, known-issue registers, escalation contacts, SOPs, runbooks and knowledge articles, ensuring information remains current and usable by all shifts. Identify recurring alarms, incident patterns, monitoring gaps, false positives and operational inefficiencies and work with technical teams and management to drive problem management, tuning, automation and continuous improvement. Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, shadowing/reverse-shadowing and service transition activities for new customers, technologies and monitoring scope, ensuring operational readiness before handover to steady-state support. Coach and develop NOC engineers through technical guidance, performance feedback, knowledge sharing, training and individual capability development; identify skill gaps and recommend development actions. Support roster and resource planning, attendance and shift discipline, leave coordination and operational coverage to ensure service continuity without compromising contractual obligations. Maintain professional communication with customers, internal technical teams, vendors, Service Delivery/Operations Management and other stakeholders, particularly during high-impact incidents and escalations. Ensure compliance with Malomatia policies, customer security requirements, access-control practices, information-security requirements, quality procedures and applicable ISO/ITSM governance controls. The Staff Counsellor will be responsible and accountable for implementing staff welfare activities within the mission. The position is expected to operate on a schedule of two working days per week.<br><br>Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing<br><br>Staff Welfare<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Tasks to be performed under this contract<br><br> Direct mental health service delivery Provide in-person and online psychological counselling and support, confidential one-to-one and group sessions, to staff members and dependents. Provide psychological and counselling support to staff members in post critical incidents and other emergencies. Identify and liaise with local and regional mental health resources that can be used for referrals or in times of crisis; refer staff members, who are in crisis, and require emergency psychological and/psychiatric support to appropriate external providers. Capacity building and prevention Develop and provide training to all staff on relevant topics including stress management, emotional processing, dealing with critical incidents, wellbeing; provide targeted training to Managers/ Heads of Units to increase their knowledge and skills to create a supportive working environment and increase awareness on mental health issues. Work with the Managers/ Heads of Units to develop preventative initiatives (e.g. preparing for critical incidents).
