<li>Responsible for the environment engineering, associated with the offshore scope greenfield and brownfield, and provide technical inputs to the detail engineering design, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning of the offshore facilities in compliance with environmental standards and regulations mainly for Oil & Gas Project.</li>

<li>Define the offshore environmental engineering requirements for all project phases from project initiation, FEED and EPIC, including preparation of Scope of Work (SOW) during pre-qualification, participating in the technical evaluations of contractors/bidders.</li>
<li>Develop environmental requirements and implementing Environment Management Plan (EMP) and support development of project HSE strategy, philosophies and HSE plans in coordination with Lead Engineer (Safety &Environment).</li>
<li>Review and endorse offshore and onshore environmental studies, evaluate options and select best techno-economic solutions.</li>
<li>Establish environmental KPIs targets in alignment with company environmental policies and strategies.</li>
<li>Support the development of environmental requirements under Project Execution Plan, Project HSE Plan in coordination with Sr. Project Engineer. This includes support to provide comprehensive inputs and review of environmental deliverables and other project's documents in the PDMS system.</li>
<li>Participate and contribute in the HSE Risk Assessment workshop mainly for Environmental Risk Assessment workshop (ENVID) to develop and update the Environmental Risk Register (ERR) and other discipline meeting discussing environmental.</li>
<li>Review and endorse the EIA Study, environmental baseline survey, environmental</li>
<li>modelling studies, ENVID Reports and other environmental assessment reports.</li>
<li>Provide contractor oversight during EPIC stage to ensure compliance with statutory and permit requirements, contractual agreement, including the effective implementation of environmental management and monitoring, auditing, inspections and reporting.</li>
<li>Critically review environmental standards, and other corporate standard/procedures; provide support to maintain the ISO14001:2015 certification by ensuring all environmental requirements/standard consistently implemented through all PO Offshore Projects.</li>
<li>Liaise and engaged with Business Corporate related to environmental permits and authorization by MoECC for all PO offshore projects (PTC, CTO, other environmental permits/license, EA exemptions/waiver, etc.)</li>
<li>Support Qatari development activities by ensuring that Qatari Nationals receive proper job training and development, in order to realize the full potential for local talent, and maximize contribution to project success.</li>

<li>B.Sc. relevant Engineering discipline from of a recognized University; higher degree Environmental Engineering and/or Project Management would be advantageous.</li>
<li>IRCA approved and registered Lead Auditor in ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems</li>
<li>Certificate and Membership of a recognized professional engineering or HSE association/institution is required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in environmental engineering in Oil & Gas Industry with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor, preferably in greenfield/brownfield project's offshore environment.</li>

Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Provide daily process optimization support to monitor the performance of process and utility systems and equipment, ensuring production targets and product specifications are met. Offer suitable recommendations to operations in the event of deviations. Assess and validate chemical performance through systematic evaluation and identify new chemicals for improvement by coordinating with chemical suppliers. Chair the Panel Review Meeting for all Technical MoC and evaluate all the proposals for process improvements and classify them either as In-house project under Dukhan Operation, RES or Project Initiation Note (PIN) for VP project, based on initial screening. Prepare the project initiation note statement of requirement (PIN-SOR), incorporating all requirements for proposed projects. Ensure the SOR document complies with VP procedures, Qatar Energy guidelines, Shell DEP’s, and approved standards to fully address the asset owner's needs. Perform adequacy checks of the existing facility for optimization purposes and assess any bottlenecks or limitations of facility performance and reliability through best practices of process optimization to enhance asset operational integrity. Develop and select technology options for feasibility and concept optimization studies to meet business targets. For external studies, participate in providing inputs and review all deliverables. Evaluate proven and new processes and technologies for operation, maintenance, or HSE improvements through projects and field trials, as required. Provide process engineering support for FEED and EPIC projects. Prepare and review project deliverables such as HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, process descriptions, and line lists for process and utility systems. Define and review operating and integrity envelope philosophy for both process & utilities systems, including operating modes such as: normal steady state, transient (i.e. start‐up, shutdown, upset), pressure‐relief, etc.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>10 to 12 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with a minimum 8 years working in the position of Senior Process Engineer. Experience in Process optimization, concept engineering and detailed design, commissioning and start-up of oil & Gas facilities, and preparation of feasibility studies and project engineering will be an added advantage.
