Functional Responsibilities:Data Ingestion and Normalization Pipeline Management: Architect and maintain the ingestion of telemetry from multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments using Bind Plane Forwarders, Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) connectors, and Webhooks. Parser Development: Design, build, and troubleshoot custom parsers (CBN) to ensure non-standard log sources are correctly normalized into the Unified Data Model (UDM). Data Health Monitoring: Build dashboards to monitor ingestion rates, latency, and data drops to ensure the SIEM is always receiving high-quality, actionable data. SOAR & Automation Engineering Playbook Development: Design and code automated incident response playbooks in Google SOAR using Python and visual builders. Connector Engineering: Build and maintain API integrations between Google SOAR and third-party tools (Firewalls, EDR, IAM, Ticketing systems). Workflow Optimization: Automate repetitive manual tasks such as artifact enrichment, evidence gathering, and initial containment actions. Case Management Configuration: Tailoring the SOAR environment to fit the SOC’s operational needs, including custom fields, stages, and SLA tracking. Platform Administration and Optimization System Health Monitoring: Monitoring the ingestion health to ensure no data is dropped and that latency stays within acceptable limits. Access Control: Managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure analysts have the correct level of access to sensitive data. Threat Intel Ingestion: Managing the integration of Mandiant, Virus Total, and other third-party threat intelligence feeds to ensure detections are always up to date with the latest global threats. Collaboration with SOC Team Feedback Loops: Collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts to tune YARA-L rules based on real-world alert performance and "noise" levels. Requirements Gathering: Interviewing incident responders to understand their manual workflows, then translating those into Google SOAR playbooks. Training & Enablement: Conducting knowledge transfer sessions on how to use UDM Search and the Google Sec Ops interface to speed up investigations. Alignment with Infrastructure Team Data Ingestion Strategy: Working with GCP/AWS/Azure Architects to ensure that Cloud Logging and Pub/Sub are configured correctly for seamless export to Google Sec Ops platform. Agent Deployment: Coordinating with IT Infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain Bind Plane Forwarders on on-premises servers and virtual machines. Troubleshooting: Collaborating with Network Engineers to resolve connectivity issues or firewall blocks that prevent telemetry from reaching the Google Sec Ops platform. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Academic & Professional Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent. SIEM Certification ( Google Sec Ops, Splunk, Azure Sentinel). Preferred:Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, GCIH Google Sec Ops Engineer Experience:3–5 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, SOC Automation, Dev Ops Engineer, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security. Job Description<br><br>The Protection Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, testing, commissioning, and maintaining protection systems in substations, power plants, and transmission/distribution networks. Witnessing the testing of Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) schemes for Transformer and Reactor. Verify protection and control schematics based on protection requirement. Troubleshooting of the faults in the substations related to protection and control and providing corrective actions to client. This position is based in Qatar onshore.<br> <br>Duration Two (2) year initial contract with a possibility of extension.<br>Work location Onshore (Ras Laffan/Doha HQ)<br> <br>Key Job Accountabilities<br>Implements Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security engineering, supports the ICS Security sustainment activities, provides project support and participates in ICS Security audits, risk assessments, technology evaluations, & self-assessments, advises ICS Custodians and ICSE Technicians to ensure ICS Security maintenance performance is achieved, and supports in periodic reviews of ICS security equipment strategies, ICS Security Policy and Design Specifications.<br>Support the implementation of ICS Security engineering specifications and related procedures, work practices, , manuals, and development of equipment strategies for new projects. ISS International SpA is looking for an experienced Static Mechanical Engineer.<br>Position Summary The Static Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing high-level technical expertise,design validation, asset integrity management, and engineering support for all static (stationary)equipment and piping systems within the manufacturing facility. This role focuses on maximizingplant reliability, leading execution strategies during major turnarounds, ensuring structuralcompliance with international design codes, and mitigating risk across high-pressure, corrosiveprocess loops. Key Responsibilities1. Engineering Design & Modification Review and approve design calculations, data sheets, drawings, and technicalspecifications for modifications or new procurement of pressure vessels, heat exchangers,and tanks. Generate and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), and Material Take-Offs (MTOs) to meet international standards (e.g.,ASME, ANSI, API). Develop and review plot plans, equipment layouts and 3D models. Route critical process, utility, and offsite pipelines. Stress Analysis: Perform piping flexibility and stress analysis to ensure systems canwithstand high pressures, extreme temperatures, and vibrations. Execute plant modifications via the formal Management of Change (MOC) protocol,ensuring no compromise to process safety or plant design basis. Prepare and approve technical deliverables for replacement projects, including scope ofwork, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor drawing reviews.2. Turnaround & Maintenance Support Define the technical scope for critical static equipment during scheduled plant shutdowns,turnarounds, and outages. Asset Integrity & Plant Reliability Support Support Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations and remaining-life assessments for older ordegraded stationary equipment. Support root cause analysis (RCA) on mechanical static equipment failures, structuralleaks, and chronic piping vibrating issues to implement definitive corrective actions.4. Safety, Compliance & Mentorship Enforce strict compliance with international codes, environmental criteria, and corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Job Requirements & Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized, accredited university. Experience & Language Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in mechanical engineering within a heavycontinuous-process chemical plant, petrochemical facility, or refinery environment. Experience in the fertilizer industry (specifically Ammonia, Urea, or Nitrates manufacturingunits) is strongly preferred. Proven track record of managing massive capital equipment replacement projects andparticipating in large-scale plant turnarounds.
