<p>Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and maintain effective communication with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments. Monitor and update guest room status accurately in the Opera PMS . Follow up on room readiness, vacant/occupied rooms, priority rooms, VIP rooms, and out-of-order rooms. Receive, record, coordinate, and follow up on guest requests related to housekeeping. Maintain accurate daily housekeeping reports, records, and checklists. Communicate room discrepancies between Housekeeping and Front Office and ensure timely resolution. Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisors regarding room assignments, cleaning progress, and special requests. Record and follow up on maintenance issues in coordination with the Engineering Department. Maintain proper records of lost and found items and housekeeping-related guest requests. Handle telephone calls, messages, and internal communications professionally and efficiently. Assist the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks. Prepare reports and provide accurate information to the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Ensure all guest requests and departmental communications are followed up promptly. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when handling guest and hotel information. Follow hotel policies, procedures, SOPs, hygiene standards, and 5-star service standards.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum 2 years of experience in a Housekeeping Desk, Housekeeping Coordinator, or similar hotel operations position, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel . Good verbal and written English communication skills . Good computer knowledge, including MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook . Working knowledge of Opera PMS is required. Good understanding of hotel housekeeping operations and room status procedures. Experience coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other hotel departments . It ended the no-objection-certificate requirement and set a tiered notice rule under Labour Law Article 49. An employee with two years or less gives or receives 1 month of notice. Above two years it is 2 months. The same Law No. 17 of 2020 introduced the basic minimum wage of QAR 1,000/month, plus QAR 500/month housing and QAR 300/month food where these are not provided in kind.<br><br>On the social-insurance side, the rates for Qatari nationals rose on 3 January 2023 under the Social Insurance Law (Law No. 1 of 2022). Salaries, wages, and allowances are expressly outside the Income Tax Law (Law No. 24 of 2018), so there is nothing to withhold from a payslip. For a foreign employee there is no social insurance to deduct either, which keeps gross pay and net pay close together.<br><br>Social insurance is the one payroll deduction, and it reaches Qatari nationals only. Under the Social Insurance Law (Law No. 1 of 2022), the employer pays 14% and the employee pays 7%. Service of two years or less needs 1 month. More than two years needs 2 months. A one-time probation of up to 6 months applies and cannot be extended.<br><br>Qatar has no separate redundancy scheme. The first is that gratuity accrues from day one of the second year and lands as a real cost at exit.<br><br>The second is that the working week is 48 hours and drops during Ramadan.<br><br>Plan for the gratuity as you go. End-of-service gratuity is not a tax, so it never shows on a monthly payslip. It still accrues at 3 weeks of pay per year and falls due the day someone leaves (Article 54). <p><strong>Executive Support: </strong></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Promote and comply with the applicable safety instruction and Company HSE procedures in all activities.</li>
<li>Carry out work in compliance with the Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices.</li>
<li>Treat all information obtained during the course of the work with confidentiality.</li>
<li>Manage professional scheduling for Head of Department or E&C manager, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics.</li>
<li>Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Personnel management:</strong></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Manage, coordinate, and arrange department’s travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination.</li>
<li>Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contact database</li>
<li>Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business</li>
<li>Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite</li>
<li>Personnel Leave Management</li>
<li>Manage onboarding of new joiners and offboarding of departing employees. Main Master List records.</li>
<li>Book and follow contractors newcomer onboarding process including:<ul>
<li>Incident Free training with COMPANY training Dept/HR</li>
<li>PPE request</li>
<li>IS request (User Access, Software/Hardware arrangements)</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Handle Employee expense claims.</li>
<li>Request and follow up E&C contractor the resources assignment to fulfill manning plan provided by Construction coordinator.</li>
<li>Confirm with contractor all assigned resources have their certificates up to date.</li>
<li>Ensure proper communication with contractor to ensure timely mobilization of personnel.</li>
<li>Manage mobilization and field movement of 300-400 pax personnel.</li>
<li>Request and follow up E&C contractor the resources assignment to fulfill manning plan provided by Construction coordinator.</li>
<li>Confirm with contractor all assigned resources have their certificates up to date.</li>
<li>Ensure proper communication with contractor to ensure Personnel mobilization</li>
<li>Manage onshore training assignment for offshore personnel (TRF, communication with their relative company for hotel booking, transportation).</li>
<li>Office/desks arrangement for E&C employees.</li>
<li>Coordinate and follow up all General Services requests for E&C.</li>
<li>E&C Intranet page publications / updates</li>
<li>Office/desks arrangement for E&C employees.</li>

<p><strong>Document Management:</strong></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Input, or make sure that all technical documents are entered into MANASA data base and follow them up and when needed review the workflow.</li>
<li>Control and expedite regularly overdue documents or comments</li>
<li>Carry out the distribution of all technical documents</li>
<li>Prepare Adhoc reports, presentation to Head of Department as and when requested.</li>
