Project: Major Offshore Redevelopment Project<br><br>Location: Middle East / Offshore Qatar<br><br>Position Summary<br><br>The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of offshore installation engineering activities for the Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project and other Middle East offshore projects. The Procurement Engineer – Civil & MEP is responsible for managing the procurement of construction materials, equipment, subcontract services, and technical requirements for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and MEP works. The role ensures timely procurement at competitive prices while meeting approved specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.<br><br>The position will coordinate closely with Project, Estimation, Engineering, Planning, Commercial, Finance, Stores, and QA/QC teams, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.<br><br>Roles & Responsibilities<br><br>Review approved BOQs, specifications, drawings, material submittals, and project requirements to identify procurement requirements. Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to approved and potential suppliers/subcontractors. Obtain, evaluate, and compare technical and commercial quotations. Prepare Technical & Commercial Comparison (T&C) and procurement recommendations for approval. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
