<p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair workshop, garage and bodyshop equipment’s.</li><li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to approved schedules.</li><li>Install, testing and commissioning of new equipment’s.</li><li>Identify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic faults.</li><li>Maintain and repair equipment including:</li><li>Vehicle lifts and hoists</li><li>Wheel alignment and wheel-balancing machines</li><li>Tyre changers</li><li>Air compressors and pneumatic systems</li><li>Welding and dent-repair equipment</li><li>Paint booths, preparation stations, and extraction systems</li><li>Chassis straightening and measuring systems</li><li>Diagnostic machines, battery chargers, and testing equipment</li><li>Pressure washers, lubrication systems, and workshop tools</li><li>Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize operational downtime.</li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and identify equipment-related risks.</li><li>Prepare maintenance reports, inspection checklists, service records, and equipment histories.</li><li>Maintain an updated preventive-maintenance schedule for all assigned equipment.</li><li>Recommend the repair or replacement of defective equipment and components.</li><li>Identify required spare parts and coordinate with the procurement and stores teams.</li><li>Monitor spare-parts consumption and maintain appropriate stock levels for critical items.</li><li>Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical support, warranties, spare parts, and service requirements.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and basic equipment--operation training to workshop employees.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company procedures, manufacturers’ instructions, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.</li><li>Maintain workshop tools, testing instruments, and assigned company assets in good condition.</li><li>Support equipment relocation, modification, upgrading, and improvement projects.</li><li>Perform other related technical duties assigned by management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>Technical certification in workshop equipment maintenance is an advantage.</li><li>Relevant manufacturers’ training or certification is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in servicing automotive workshop, garage, or bodyshop equipment.</li><li>Previous experience with authorized automotive dealerships, workshop-equipment suppliers, or service centres is preferred.</li><li>Experience working with different brands of workshop and bodyshop equipment is an advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Technical Knowledge and Skills</p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.</li><li>Ability to diagnose faults using technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic instruments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qatar Driving License: Candidate with valid Qatar/ GCC Driving license shall be an added advantage</p>
