Senior Sales Engineer – Structural Steel & PEBLocation: Qatar Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication / Steel Manufacturing / Construction<br>Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth and develop strategic client relationships within the Structural Steel Fabrication and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing projects, managing key accounts, and supporting the achievement of sales targets across Qatar and the GCC market. The role requires strong technical and commercial expertise in structural steel, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record of securing industrial, commercial, and Oil & Gas projects. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate should have strong Auto CAD skills and hands-on experience in mechanical drafting, 3D modeling, and manufacturing drawings. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using Auto CAD. Create detailed 3D part, assembly, and fabrication models using Solid Works or equivalent 3D CAD software. Generate detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings from 3D models. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements to drawings. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Incorporate machining symbols, tolerances, and surface finish requirements into drawings. Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, and IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on training devices and associated systems, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with established standards. Ensure deficiencies identified during maintenance, readiness, or QTG activities are properly followed up, actioned, and closed within required timelines. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve training device issues, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and issues raised by National Aviation Authorities (NAAs). Perform hardware refurbishment and modifications, identify recurring issues, and contribute to the development of permanent corrective solutions.
