Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Liaises with Control Rooms of Dukhan Oil Producers, Dukhan FSP, NG-I, NGL-4, NFGP and Refinery to discuss and resolve any problems in the supply and consumption of oil and liquid to the oil distribution & storage network. Assists the Senior Operator in operating the system.</p><p>Required to follow a 2 Cycle Shift System and is not permitted to leave place of work unless relieved,</p><p>Monitors and controls from the Central loading control room the crude oil, Refinery naphtha and condensate loading and ensures the safe and trouble free loading to ships is executed through MPB & SPM.</p><p>Ensures the final loading calculations are passed on the Lead Terminal Supervisor for fiscal measurements and calculations.</p><p>Ensures the safe operations and protection of pipelines and all tanks of the Tank Farm area.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Minimum 7 years Gas Processing & Distribution system experience including 3 years of previous experience of operating DCS/SCADA Control System.</li><li>Completion of Secondary Education followed by 2/3 years formal technical training in Process Plant Operation to OND/ONC or equivalent level plus relevant training in Safety & Computer based systems.</li></ul><p></p></section>

<p>Responsible for delivery of General Engineering Training to cadets within the BAE Systems Qatar Technical Institute in Doha, Qatar. The Instructor/Assessor will deliver a range of training modules, across the General Engineering programme or within their Mechanical/ Electrical /Armament trade boundary . The successful delivery of the modules will contribute toward the learners attainment of externally accredited qualifications. The Instructor/Assessor will assess learner performance, in accordance with the assessment strategy in force for the modules. Assessment of learners may take place from within or outside of their trade boundary, to allow for independence. The Instructor/Assessor will actively contribute to the continuing improvement of the QTI, through identification of ideas and embracing the suggestions of others. Core Activity The roles will deliver training to QAF cadets within the QTI, predominantly within the classroom but also within the practical training areas. The roles will utilize both presentation media and training devices and assets to deliver training and the instructor must be proficient in all methods. The roles will conduct assessment of the learners, predominantly through knowledge-based testing, in accordance with the assessment strategy in place. Key Accountabilities: Responsible for the delivery of the General Engineering programmes within the QTI ensuring training is delivered to plan and quality. Responsible for support to the Specialty Engineering programme as required during periods of operational need. Establish and maintain effective links with local QAF Cadet Welfare teams to ensure their support is forthcoming to cadet welfare and discipline issues. Maintain and develop a customer focused approach that delivers customer satisfaction. Ensure all SHE requirements are met in the training environment. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements. Where required to be prepared to assist in the development of the training courseware</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & learning (inc. 90 hrs teaching practice)</p><p>5yrs training delivery experience gained outside of QTTC (or 2yrs within) delivering:</p><ul><li>Apprentice training</li><li>Military trade training</li><li>Type training</li><li>FE College (Engineering or Science)</li></ul><p>TAQA Qualified</p><p>2yrs experience in training design following BSAT/DSAT model</p><p>Fluent spoken Arabic would be an advantage</p>
