<p>Marine Operations Coordination: Oversee the logistical movement and positioning of dredging vessels and support craft within designated dredging and reclamation zones.<br>Liaise with RLIC port authorities, marine traffic control, and terminal operations regarding vessel movements ensuring marine access, navigation permits and operational clearances.<br>Support the contractor in securing required permits, customs clearances, and import/export approvals.<br>Review logistics-related progress reports and identify potential schedule impacts.<br>Ensure logistics activities comply with local regulations, environmental requirements, and project procedures.<br>Verify contractor compliance with contractual logistics obligations.<br>Operational Follow-up: Monitor the daily logistics flow of the Contractor's team, identifying potential bottlenecks in both marine traffic and land-based transport.<br>Reporting & Compliance: Ensure all movements (vessels and heavy machinery) adhere to safety standards and environmental permits required for dredging and reclamation projects.<br>Ensure Contractor's timely development and effective implementation of Project Unloading, Transportation and Logistics Systems, Procedures, and Detailed schedules.<br>Closely monitor and audit contractor's relevant implementation plan.<br>Resolve logistics interface issues that may affect construction or dredging operations<br>Coordinate closely with Port authorities in Doha and RLC for regulations, procedures and working schedule details.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma in either Supply Chain Management, Marine Transportation, or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Marine) or related field.</li><li>8 years of logistics experience, preferably in Dredging, Marine Construction, or Oil & Gas marine logistics.</li><li>Familiarity with Marine permits and port clearances, international shipping, Vessel movements, equipment mobilization and demobilization customs rules, and relevant vessel certifications.</li><li>Experience in coordination of Dredging contractors, subcontractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Experience of RLIC Port or in Middle East region will be added Advantage</li><li>Fluent in written and oral English.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, coordination and planning skills.</li><li>Good mediation skills include conflict resolution, problem-solving, creative thinking, influencing and empathy.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs, etc.</li></ul>
