Reports To: Maintenance Engineer Company: Qatar Fabrication Company Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar<br>**PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES**<br>Primary Functions The Maintenance Supervisor oversees a technical team of maintenance foremen and technicians to efficiently execute all maintenance work orders or job cards as directed by the Engineer/Planner. Integral to this role is ensuring strict compliance with the SAP PM plan and addressing specific site requirements for maintenance tasks. Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for accurate data entry and completion of work orders. Solid trade knowledge and technical skills are essential for promptly attending to, addressing, and resolving equipment failures.<br>1) Site Management:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of maintenance foremen and technicians to ensure the effective execution of maintenance tasks. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.<br>For Mobile Plant equipment and Utilities:a) Responsible to maintain all Fixed equipment such as but not limited to CNC Equipment, PLC based Equipment, Hydraulic Equipment, other pre-fabrication machinery, welding machines, blasting, and painting equipment.b) Responsible for maintaining all portable equipment such as but not limited to welding machines, grinders, chipping guns, torches, welding ovens, rollers, manipulators.c) Responsible for maintaining mobile plant equipment such as but not limited to forklifts, MEWPs, cleaning machines, air compressors, generators, and other material handling equipment.d) Responsible to maintain Equipment in all the workshop facilities.e) Responsible for maintaining all mechanical utilities in all the workshop facilities and exterior of the yard such as utility lines and appliances.<br> For Transportation and Lifting Equipmenta) Responsible for the maintenance of all lifting and transportation equipment such as but not limited to electric overhead cranes, portal JIB cranes, all terrain and rough terrain mobile cranes, crawler cranes, shipyard transporters, self-propelled modular transporters.b) Responsible for the maintenance of all portable geared and powered lifting appliances such electric hoists, chain hoists, hydraulic jacks, pedestal jacks, load cells. Conduct TBT and work preparatory instructions to the workforce to ensure compliance to QFAB's QHSES requirements. Facilitate PTW requirements, energy isolation, HIT card and relevant safety measures as applicable. Collaborate with Maintenance Engineer in case of assistance required for maintenance quality measurement and use of precision or special tools.<br>2) Maintenance Work Orders Execution:Supervise the timely and efficient execution of all maintenance work orders or job cards assigned by the Engineer for the Planner group. Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed according to established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards. All manhours and resource utilization for the work order must be recorded in SAP PM WO followed by review of the Maintenance Engineer Provide spare parts and external service request to Maintenance Engineer for review and necessary action. Work order completion report to be submitted to Maintenance Engineer with all findings, actions and pending items if any. Adhere to department maintenance workflow process.<br>3) Compliance with SAP PM Plan:Enforce strict adherence to the SAP PM plan for maintenance activities, including scheduling, execution, and documentation. Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with work order requirements and deadlines.<br>4) Addressing Equipment Failures:Utilize solid trade knowledge and technical skills to promptly attend to, address, and resolve equipment failures. Collaborate with maintenance team members and other stakeholders to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Respond to breakdown notification and address the issues by troubleshooting and repair. Obtain technical guidance from Maintenance Engineer as and when required.<br>5) Data Entry and Completion:Oversee accurate data entry and completion for work orders in the SAP PM system, including updating work status and recording observations. Conduct regular verification of work order data to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br>6) Communication with work groups:Closely engage with Production supervisor for equipment malfunction, observations and cascade the information to Maintenance Engineer for improvements. Coordinate with production supervisor to align equipment availability and utilization plan to determine maintenance window and condition assessment.<br>Qualifications, Experience and Skills<br>Qualifications:Diploma with relevant years of work experience (in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Mechatronics).<br>Experience: 4+ Years of relevant industrial experience in the maintenance department.

Job Summary<br><br> JOB DESCRIPTION <br><br>Supervises & coordinates all marine activities onboard including, but not limited to, safety, environment, and firefighting equipment, lifting operations, rig moves & jacking system operation, stability & ballast controls, helicopter operations, hull & tanks maintenance, emergencies response roles. Care and certification of all marine equipment onboard. Manage and ensure rig is in compliance with applicable rules, codes, regulations, and industry best practices considering the safety of personnel, environment & equipment.<br><br>Roles & Responsibilities<br><br>Rig Move & Related activities:<br><br>Supervises and arranges for the preparation of Rig Move, stability calculations for jacking, floating, and preloading, ensuring compliance with Rig Move preparation checklists. Observation of weather forecast for rig move window including preload hours. Review of Soil condition reports for location for anticipation of expected penetration. Ensure the jacking system & motors have planned maintenance completed up to date and are ready for operation. The drilling package and cantilever are secured per the rig’s operation manual. Cranes and loose items are secured in accordance with the best seamanship practices while securing watertight doors/hatches during the rig move. Towing is available, maintained up to date equipment is ready and certified as required. Spare equipment should be considered and highlighted if not available. Mooring winches are maintained up to date and ready for operation. Arrange and participate in rig move meetings. Maintains records of associated documents/files and moves history to ensure that full and accurate records are kept. Watertight integrity checks.<br><br>Stability<br><br>Assures daily accurate rig loading, leg reactions, supplies of fuel/water and centers of gravity are kept within the design limits for the safe operation of the unit. Calculate the daily load criteria to ensure the installation satisfies the operation and stability requirements. During loading ensures that deck loading is within the loading criteria in accordance with rig design and operation manual.<br><br>Lifting Operations<br><br>Supervises and directs loading/unloading and movement of all cargo including supervising & planning for crane critical, complex lifting operations and personnel transfer, onboard and outboard the unit. Direct deck crew to move/load/unload critical items considering the unit load distribution calculations to ensure security of the lifted items & personnel.<br><br>Drilling / Work-over Operations<br><br>Liaise and co-operate with the drilling crew to ensure safe and smooth running of operations. Assign crew members to work in drilling operations as required.<br><br>Management Of Major Emergencies<br><br>To be part of the Rig’s Emergency Response Team as detailed in the Emergency Plan and in Company Procedures. Ensure that all personnel are instructed in the applicable procedures in the case of an emergency. Ensure that Well Control and general safety drills are held and recorded in accordance with Company and Regulatory requirements.<br><br>Inspections & Certifications<br><br>Prepares and participates in various inspection and survey activities in accordance with Class and statutory requirements and any other local/country/authority or regulatory body surveys. Maintain the unit’s statutory certification and records as required by Class and Flag or any other mandatory regulations, STCW convention issued by IMO etc. or any other local country/authority regulatory body.<br><br>Materials & Equipment<br><br>Monitors all preventive maintenance activity for marine, helideck, navigation, firefighting, lifesaving equipment onboard the unit and ensure the timely execution of such maintenance and ensure that all lifting equipment are certified and kept in good working condition. Liaises with the OIM and Maintenance Department to ensure incorporation of maintenance/repairs, Class, and other audits outstanding recommendations works. Prepares hull and tank painting annual plans and reviews completion quarterly.<br><br>Helicopter Operations<br><br> Ensures that the Helicopter operations are occurred safely & according to the aviation authorities, standards & regulations and maintain valid certification for the helideck. <br><br>Housekeeping<br><br>Ensure that the work areas are clean and orderly prepared, free of hazards prior to & upon completion of the work, task, or repairs by the deck crew. Direct the dispose of the debris as per the company hazardous material segregations policy / waste management policy taking into consideration the environmental & safety impacts.<br><br>People Management & Development<br><br>Provide clear instructions to their team regarding their duties, responsibilities, and any necessary safety precautions prior to commencing work.
