<p>The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project quality standards, reviewing and implementing quality procedures, and supporting project delivery in accordance with Ashghal requirements. The role includes close coordination with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure all quality and safety standards are met.
· Develops and maintains quality standards that apply to onsite construction work, ensuring proper implementation.
· Reviews and approves inspections, test plans and quality control plans from client/consultant.
· Implements quality control procedures and plans for providing more efficient construction work.
· Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for site construction.
· Plans and coordinates QA/QC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements.
· Supervise the activities of the quality service providers and inspectors to ensure diligent performance.
· Reviews and approves the contractors' quality documentation, and implements audits as well.</p><p>· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Manage independent Cost estimation and Cost advice for developing and implementing various Capital, Production, Maintenance, HSE and Refinery Shutdown Projects. Execute cost estimate for in-house Plant modification for optimizing and improving Refinery processes, production and HSE requirements.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 12 years oil and gas experience in cost estimation, contractor interface, planning and costing. Excellent oral and written English, communication combined with good presentation skills. Experience in MS Office applications and leadership and motivation ability and Problem-solving skills.<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Civil/Mechanical/process Degree holder from internationally recognized university. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and / or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certified cost engineer (AACE) will assets.
