<p>The Technical Office Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating all technical aspects of the project to ensure design, drawings, and specifications are implemented accurately and efficiently. Job Title: Landscape Engineer Location: Doha, Qatar <br>Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Landscape Engineer to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating landscape works, ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. <br>Experience:Minimum 10 years of total professional experience. You will support the integration of conventional building services with architectural, structural, civil, utility, and themed entertainment systems to achieve technically compliant, maintainable, operationally efficient, and fully coordinated solutions.</p> What You ll Be Doing: <ul> <li>Provide technical engineering support for the delivery of the Project Management Consultancy services throughout all project phases.</li> <li>Review and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and specialist building systems to ensure technical consistency, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.</li> <li>Support the coordination and integration of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical distribution, fire protection, ELV systems, building management systems, utility networks, and other building services.</li> <li>Coordinate MEP engineering interfaces between the Lead Design Consultant, Architect of Record, Design & Build Contractor, Supervision Consultant, specialist designers, attraction vendors, operators, and utility providers.</li> <li>Review engineering reports, technical calculations, design submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical queries related to MEP systems.</li> <li>Support constructability reviews and technical evaluations to identify engineering risks, interface conflicts, and opportunities for design optimization and value engineering.</li> <li>Monitor engineering progress and support the timely resolution of technical issues that may affect project cost, schedule, quality, procurement, or construction activities.</li> <li>Coordinate MEP engineering support during procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and handover to facilitate the successful installation, integration, and operation of building services.</li> <li>Support multidisciplinary coordination for building services, utility capacity, energy systems, life safety systems, environmental systems, and specialist operational infrastructure.</li> <li>Provide technical oversight for themed entertainment systems, including ride-support utilities, show HVAC, show-power interfaces, water-ride treatment and filtration systems, life-support systems, specialty pumping systems, attraction utility infrastructure, and other guest-experience-related engineering systems.</li> <li>Assist in reviewing engineering-related RFIs, design clarifications, variations, and technical change requests, including their potential impact on the Project.</li> <li>Coordinate with the BIM team to support multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and engineering integration.</li> <li>Participate in engineering design reviews, integrated systems coordination workshops, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and testing and commissioning readiness reviews.</li> <li>Support the review of as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, commissioning records, asset information, and engineering handover documentation.</li> <li>Maintain engineering coordination registers, technical review records, action trackers, and related documentation within the Electronic Document Management System.</li> </ul> <p> </p> What Required Skills You ll Bring: <ul> <li>Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.</li> <li>Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent professional registration is preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering design, technical coordination, or Project Management Consultancy for major hospitality, entertainment, mixed-use, or destination developments.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary MEP systems on large-scale Design & Build projects.</li> <li>Proven experience supporting themed entertainment developments, integrated resorts, luxury hospitality developments, or complex mixed-use destinations is highly desirable.</li> <li>Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, fire and life safety systems, ELV systems, building management systems, utility infrastructure, and integrated building services.</li> <li>Experience coordinating specialist entertainment systems such as ride-support utilities, show systems, water attractions, or other complex operational infrastructure is highly desirable.</li> <li>Experience working on Design & Build projects through design, construction, testing and commissioning, and handover.</li> <li>Strong understanding of applicable international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.</li> <li>GCC experience is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <p> </p><br>

Support dealing with various stake holders Responsible for providing required quality Mechanical Static / Piping engineering support and expertise through all stages of the project Verify and review technical Mechanical Static / Piping documents, and design documents in accordance with approved standards and to meet Operations, Maintenance, Asset integrity and HSE requirements. Ensure scope preparation completeness review with hands on experience in operation and maintenance of rotating and non-rotating equipment, various pumps and compressors, reliability and availability of equipment, APMS (Asset Performance Management System), mechanical and piping modifications, utilities etc. Plan and coordinate between Operations, Maintenance, Asset Integrity, Process and Operational Safety, Fire Engineering and ICT teams to ensure project requirements are met and aligned and provide continuous project assurance. Identifies potential hazards during Engineering activities (as applicable) such as Document Review, Design Safety Review workshop, HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, etc., participates in technical meetings, commissioning activities, SAT, Plant pre-start up safety audits, performance tests raises punch lists and provide support to operations and maintenance teams in various stages of project activities. Coordinate with Project execution department, engineering, operations and maintenance teams during projects' FEED and EPIC stages to align operations, maintenance, Asset Integrity and HSE requirements. Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues, punch lists and warranty issues during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages until the projects are successfully commissioned and handed over. Support lead engineer or his supervisor and ensure that all applicable environmental, process and safety technical policies, standards are fully integrated and implemented. Provide necessary support during any incident analysis, failure investigations etc. Ensure SIMOPS, Various project interfaces so that shutdown activities are properly planned for effective execution. Support development of Qatari teams.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering specialized in Static and Piping. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable. Minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with an international reputable Operating company. Experience in operations and maintenance is mandatory. Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related to his area of expertise and Design Software related to Mechanical Static / Piping Engineering such as Stress Analysis software, etc. Exposure with international consulting company, EPIC contractor with projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities is an added advantage. Possess sound fundamentals in his discipline area. Shall possess very good technical skills in his discipline. Possess good communication, presentation skills and fluent in English language.</p>
