The<strong> FHE Refueler Mechanic</strong> supervises the reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of all USAF Fuels Support Equipment (FSE) and vehicle assets. Ensures compliance with the applicable USAF mandatory requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).<br><br><strong>Principal Accountabilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensures monthly reconstitution, preservation and inspection goals are attained. </li><li>Performs receipt Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) within prescribed guidelines. </li><li>Ensures that the most economic form of repair is performed on all USAF Fuels assets. </li><li>Prioritizes work according to goals and schedules. </li><li>Inspects and prepares USAF Fuels assets for air/land/sea movement. </li><li>Ensures safety practices and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standard. </li><li>Ensures that all tools and equipment are serviceable, accounted for and secured. </li><li>Stores and disposes of all hazardous materials in accordance with Amentum Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). </li><li>Conducts repair parts research to ensure only required repair parts are requested and determines the local availability of required repair parts. </li><li>Inspects, tests, repairs and maintains electrical systems on Fuels assets. </li><li>Uses and interprets wiring diagrams, test equipment and special tools. </li><li>Charges and repairs air conditioning systems. </li><li>Maintains and stores out-load items: wet and dry charged batteries, electrolyte, battery clamps and other required equipment. </li><li>Keeps a stock of charged batteries in accordance with the PWS and as directed by supervision. </li><li>Ensures correct and expeditious completion of work orders. </li><li>Inspects all completed vehicle repairs to ensure quality assurance is maintained. </li><li>Ensures all unserviceable and unused serviceable repair parts are returned to the supply facility. </li><li>Operates, maintains, troubleshoots and Fuels assets. </li><li>Performs Temporary Duty (TDY) within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) as required by US Air Force/Amentum tasking. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have outstanding customer service and organizational skill and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend all required publications required. </li><li>Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs. </li><li>Capacity to work effectively with diverse workforce encompassing different cultural backgrounds. </li><li>Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license. </li><li>May be required to operate material handling and light to heavy military type vehicles/equipment. </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Minimum five years' experience as a Fuels Technician required. </li><li>May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment. </li><li>Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed. </li><li>Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment. </li><li>Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Four years supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>Formal training in refueling maintenance is desired. </li><li>Experience supervising a diverse international workforce is desired.</li></ul>

Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).<br><br><strong>Principal Accountabilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Retrieves inbound equipment from the loading/unloading freight or holding area. </li><li>Evaluates the overall condition of Fuels assets and other related components and equipment. </li><li>Performs visual inspections and functional checks. </li><li>Cleans and inspects major and minor components when removed from Fuels assets. </li><li>Troubleshoots deficiencies and takes the necessary corrective maintenance repair action. </li><li>Rebuilds engines, fuel nozzles and fuel/air valves.
