<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <ul> <li>To Inspect the materials to the PO requirements (Technical Specification, certification, packaging, and the physical condition) and conclude the inspection outcome.</li> <li>To refer required specifications, codes, standards or other Engineering Documents, drawings, datasheets for carrying out the Inspection.</li> <li>Report item wise visual, dimensional, quantities with UOM in the Inspection report with clear status (Accepted / Rejected) identified. Shall be able to justify the reasons for rejections to raise complaint Notifications to suppliers.</li> <li>Shall be responsible for segregation of accepted / rejected / Quarantine Materials after physical Inspection of materials</li> <li>Ensure proper tracking systems are followed to keep the records of Inspection documents and retrieval when required.</li> <li>Ensure resolution of Certification CNR in co-ordination with stake holders and release of accepted materials from SAP Quality Blocks as applicable.</li> <li>Independently responsible for Materials Inspected. Shall be able to justify queries / rejections from warehouses or end users and resolve the issues.</li> <li>Carry out Preservation Inspection and old stock material Inspection as required from time to time and submit Inspection reports.</li> <li>Shall be able to Drive the Car and make inspection visits to the Warehouse locations as directed.</li> <li>Responsible for housekeeping of Inspection area in compliance to HSE regulations.</li> <li>Adhere to section work instructions / guidelines to perform the inspection activities.</li> <li>Prepare section weekly / monthly reports and submit to Sr. Material Engineer (Insp)</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering under respective discipline (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation).</li> <li>A minimum of 10 years' experience in Plant Maintenance (Oil &amp; Gas, Chemical or Petro-chemical) or technical evaluation of materials out of which minimum of 6 years' experience in oil and gas / Allied Process Industry.</li> <li>Exposure to supply chain environment is preferable.</li> <li>Experience in Technical evaluation of Mechanical / Electrical Spares, Pipeline Components, Consumables is required.</li> <li>General knowledge of process system, Equipment &amp; Materials used in Refineries and the Oil &amp; gas Industry. We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for a major infrastructure programme in Qatar.<br><br>The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project quality requirements and ensuring that engineering and construction activities comply with approved specifications, procedures, standards and contractual requirements.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Implement and monitor project QA/QC requirements. Review Project Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements and quality procedures. Conduct and coordinate site inspections. Review material approvals, test results and inspection documentation. Raise, monitor and close NCRs and corrective/preventive actions. Maintain quality records, registers and supporting documentation. Conduct quality audits and monitor contractor compliance. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, laboratories and client representatives. Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved drawings/specifications. Support testing, commissioning and project handover documentation.<br><br>Candidate Requirements<br><br>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline. Significant QA/QC experience within civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections, audits, method statements and material approvals. Roads, drainage, utilities or major public infrastructure experience preferred. Qatar/GCC experience highly advantageous. Relevant QA/QC certifications advantageous. Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.

An international engineering consultancy company is seeking a highly experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Roads & Infrastructure (Highway Projects) team in Qatar. Key Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of professional experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and highway infrastructure projects. At least 5 years of experience in GCC countries. Valid MMUP/UPDA certification is mandatory. Proven experience in traffic impact assessments, traffic modeling, traffic management plans, and roadway network analysis. Strong knowledge of international and local traffic engineering standards and regulations. Proficiency in traffic engineering and simulation software such as SIDRA, Synchro, VISSIM, AIMSUN, Trans CAD, or similar tools. Experience in the design and review of traffic control systems, junctions, signalized intersections, and highway traffic schemes. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in English Language. Key Responsibilities:Develop and review traffic engineering designs and studies for major highway and infrastructure projects. Conduct traffic impact assessments and transportation planning studies. Prepare traffic management plans and traffic diversion schemes during construction. Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, authorities, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international best practices.
