<li><span>Oversee transfer pricing regulations to ensure full compliance for all inter-company transactions within the Group and sister companies. </span></li>
<li><span>Analyze and interpret tax regulations, policies, and developments applicable to the company, evaluating the overall impact on the organization. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure tax credits, wherever applicable, are properly accounted for and utilized in accordance with local law. </span></li>
<li><span>Prepare and maintain a robust tax calendar to ensure 100% compliance without failure. </span></li>

<span><b>VAT Implementation & Accounting Integration</b></span>
<ul>
<li><span>Lead the impact analysis and process design for VAT laws in Qatar, including system/software implementation and legal structure considerations. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT returns and related information to the Tax Authority. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure all tax and VAT accruals are accurately accounted for in <b>Autoline</b> (accounting software). </span></li>
<li><span>Coordinate with Budget, MIS, and Procurement teams to ensure proper communication and accurate incorporation of tax/VAT amounts on Purchase Orders (POs). </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure tax expenses are fully evaluated and integrated into periodical budgets. </span></li>

<span><b>Stakeholder Advisory & Authority Representation</b></span>
<ul>
<li><span>Respond directly to Tax Authorities regarding queries and supporting documentation required during tax assessments. </span></li>
<li><span>Serve as an internal advisor, providing timely guidance and clear communication on tax matters to respective Business Units (BUs) and BU Chief Accountants. </span></li>
<li><span>Coordinate with corporate tax consultants for expert interpretation, guidance, and legal applicability of tax laws. </span></li>
<li><span>Partner with the Government Relations Department to ensure timely renewal and display of tax certificates and Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) across all locations. </span></li>
<li><span>Systematically archive all key tax documentation (Payment challans, Tax Returns, WHT certificates, Annual Returns, and VAT filings). </span></li>

The incumbent also manages Qatar medical license and hospital privileges for faculty members at WCM-Q.<br>Job Responsibilities Manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Clinical and Faculty Affairs team, ensuring continuity and completion of division’s activities. Manages the appointments, reappointments, promotions, and termination of the WCMC-Q and affiliate faculty within established time frames. Supports development of the annual plan, including budgeting, faculty salary benchmarking, and planning for events and activities hosted by the unit. The Mechanical Engineering (MEEN) Program of Texas A&M University at Qatar (http://www.qatar.tamu.edu/) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant level. The position is in the areas of robotics and autonomous systems, with preference given to candidates with expertise in emerging technologies with novel theoretical developments and practical applications, such as industrial robotics; control, autonomous systems; intelligent robotics for exploration, manufacturing, and construction; advanced sensor and actuation technologies; mechatronics and human-machine interaction and applications of artificial intelligence to robotics and autonomous systems. Faculty at Texas A&M University Qatar Campus (TAMUQ) are of two types: instructional track and research track. This position is a research-track position at the assistant level. The official title for this position is Research Assistant Professor, with the working title of Engineering Assistant Professor. Research-track faculty at TAMUQ are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and develop an independent research program, as well as to engage through scholarship within the university and their discipline.<br><br>This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 or Fall 2024, depending on the applicant's availability. The hired faculty member is eligible to receive a startup package that covers the summer salary for three years. Job Summary and Purpose Ensure that the Fleet is managed safely, efficiently, in a professional manner to standards and costs that are in line with the industry best practices. Prepare defense for performance and off hire claims Monitor LNG bespoke developed emergency STS transfer with the third-party service provider in conjunction with the charterers to be able to deploy promptly if required Visit ships as required and instructed by the Operations Manager. Develop reports on the upkeep, operational standards, and effective management of vessels Monitors and ensure ship-shore loading efficiency, passage performance, ship performance, and cargo management are done efficiently Ensure terminal compatibility and assurance process completed safely and timely.
