Provide instructional support and training cover as required to ensure continuity of programme delivery.<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Qualification/Trade Knowledge:<br><br>Essential<br><br>Recognised qualification at UK Level 4 or above in the relevant engineering, technical, vocational or professional discipline, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable industrial/defence experience and technical competence within the relevant subject area. A minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering technical, vocational, engineering, defence or professional training in a structured learning environment. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and digital technologies to support training delivery and administration. <br><br>Desirable<br><br>Teaching, training, assessing or instructional qualification, or equivalent. JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEManage and ensure the successful execution of projects. Primary responsibility is to oversee and implement project management processes, including estimation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting to effectively control project progress and resources.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProject Planning & Scheduling Collaborate with project managers, Project engineers and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, including defining project goals, scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones. Support the planning engineers to develop project schedules. Evaluate and endorse the planning package documents submitted by contractors. Manage and control projects’ costs, including forecasting, and spend tracking and work closely with project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that budgets are met as per the planned WBS and cost overruns are identified and addressed. Analyse project performance data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement and use this information to make recommendations to Project managers, project engineers and other stakeholders. Update the individual master cost control sheet for Major Projects and keep their financial data accurate through all project phases. Review of projects invoices and validate the progress. Analyse EOT (Extension of Time) claims and change order and assess their impact on schedule. Support Project managers, project engineers and other stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Monitor the project for any unforeseen risks and propose corrective actions if necessary.
