<br><p><strong>Design and Engineering:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare CCTV, ACS system design concepts, device layouts, riser diagrams, schematic diagrams, and system architecture.</p></li><li><p>Perform CCTV storage calculations, bandwidth calculations, camera coverage review, access control door schedule review, controller sizing, power / UPS considerations, and network requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ensure designs are aligned with MOI-SSD requirements, client specifications and project requirements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Pre-Sales and Tender Support:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Review RFQs, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare compliant technical and commercial proposals for CCTV, ACS, intrusion detection, intercom, structured cabling, networking, and related ELV systems.</p></li><li><p>Prepare BOQs, cost sheets, supplier comparisons, compliance statements, technical clarifications, and value engineering options.</p></li><li><p>Support the sales team during client meetings, technical discussions, and proposal presentations.</p></li><li><p>Identify technical risks, commercial risks, exclusions, assumptions, and scope gaps before submission.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Costing and Estimation:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare accurate cost sheets with proper material, labor, installation, testing, commissioning, programming, documentation, and contingency considerations.</p></li><li><p>Validate supplier quotations technically and commercially.</p></li><li><p>Prepare comparison sheets and recommend cost-effective solutions.</p></li><li><p>Maintain standard cost templates, BOQ formats, and estimation records.</p></li><li><p>Take ownership of checking the technical and commercial accuracy of submitted BOQs, cost sheets, and proposal documents before internal approval.</p></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Documentation:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare technical submittals, material compliance sheets, method statements, system descriptions, and handover-related technical documents when required.</p></li><li><p>Prepare responses to consultant comments, client clarifications, RFIs, and technical queries.</p></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Coordination and Support:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, project teams and management.</p></li><li><p>Support project handover by explaining scope, design basis, cost assumptions, and exclusions.</p></li><li><p>Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during project execution when related to proposed design or system architecture.</p></li><li><p>Keep updated with market solutions, vendor products, pricing trends, and competitor offerings.</p></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 10 years of ELV/security systems experience, preferably in Qatar.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on experience ELV/security system design and estimation capability.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of MOI-SSD requirements and approval processes.</p></li><li><p>Excellent Excel skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of VMS, NVR/server-storage sizing, camera selection, ACS controllers, readers, structured cabling design and networks.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret tender drawings, specifications, IFC drawings, and consultant requirements.</p></li><li><p>Strong AutoCAD / Visio / MS Office skills.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills for client meetings, consultant clarifications, and sales support.</p></li><li><p>Ability to prepare clear technical proposals, compliance statements, and value-engineered alternatives.</p></li><li><p>Experience with major CCTV / ACS brands such as Axis, Hikvision, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>UPDA/MMUP registered engineer</p></li><li><p>Experience with MOI DSA / DIA / inspection processes</p></li><li><p>Certifications: Milestone/Genetec, Avigilon ACC, HikCentral and Lenel ACS</p></li><li><p>Structured cabling design certification is a plus</p></li><li><p>Networking certifications: CCNA</p></li><li><p>Storage/server knowledge: Dell, HPE, RAID/storage sizing, VMS storage calculation</p></li></ul>
