Job Description<br><br> Inspect structural works on-site including concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, precast elements, and associated civil infrastructure. Monitor contractors’ activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, materials, and relevant specifications. Report any non-conformances, delays, or deviations from the contract documents to the Site Engineer or Resident Engineer. Witness material testing and ensure the correct implementation of quality control procedures. Maintain comprehensive site records including daily inspections, progress updates, and photographic evidence. Review and verify contractor’s daily reports and check the adequacy of manpower and equipment on-site. Coordinate with other discipline inspectors to resolve interface issues and ensure proper integration of works. Participate in technical and progress meetings as required. Assist in reviewing method statements and ITPs from a site implementation perspective. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing cable termination, conducting system troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with engineers and project supervisors, preparing basic installation reports, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities. ELV Technicians are expected to maintain tools and equipment, follow company procedures, and contribute to timely project completion. Qualifications Technical skills in ELV systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and related systems.
