Team members benefit from exposure to diverse projects and advanced technologies in the ELV sector. Role Description The ELV Technicians role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing cable termination, conducting system troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with engineers and project supervisors, preparing basic installation reports, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities. ELV Technicians are expected to maintain tools and equipment, follow company procedures, and contribute to timely project completion. Qualifications Technical skills in ELV systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and related systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation, with strong attention to detail. Experience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs for ELV equipment and cabling infrastructure. Candidate should have valid Qatar Driving License. Knowledge of basic electrical and low-voltage safety practices, standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using hand tools, test instruments, and measurement devices relevant to ELV installation and maintenance. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and site teams. Minimum diploma or technical certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field; relevant ELV certifications are an advantage. Previous experience in ELV projects in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred, with familiarity in local codes and client requirements. Ability to work on-site in Doha, adapt to project schedules, and perform tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.
