Constantly identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports, guest comment cards and guest incident reports, and share observations and recommendations with the outlet manager. Maintain a good relationship and steady communication with the respective Chef de Cuisine to work on a very effective flow to assure all served food and beverage reaches the room in the best possible condition with regard to temperature and presentation. Ensure menu descriptions are up to date, spelled correctly, distributed appropriately and visibly displayed in the In Room Dining area. Observe the competition, current market and international trends, prices with the market and other new ideas and forward them to the outlet manager. Assist the outlet manager to plan and execute special promotional activities for the outlets and plan for festive season events related to the outlet. Follow all procedures, policies and practices with regard to the Jardine accounting related requirements for F&B outlets. Support the outlet manager in monitoring the monthly P&L and carry out regular detailed analysis of outlet related financial information. Support the outlet manager to maintain a clear overview of all IG point of sales related set ups and carry out regular check on accuracy of all items. Attend and participate all required meetings as scheduled.</p><p><strong>Colleague Relations:</strong></p><p>Provide leadership, direction and support to all outlet colleagues at any time, particularly during the operation hours. Support the outlet manager to focus on the training of order takers to assure a smooth interaction for all calls received from guest rooms including strong upselling skills. Ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Doha s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained at all times to reflect an image of professionalism and care. Assist the outlet manager to prepare a weekly roster to schedule all colleagues effectively to maintain the service standards of Mandarin Oriental while operating within budgeted labour cost guidelines and headcounts, depending on the business volume. Conduct counselling and disciplinary action as appropriate in accordance with Mandarin Oriental, Doha s procedures. <p>Lead Talabat Qatar s overall supply ecosystem, ensuring a sustainable, high-quality, and high-performing rider base across the country. Develop and execute the overall supply growth and acquisition strategy aligned with business demand and market dynamics. Lead long-term supply forecasting and planning to ensure full coverage and service level adherence. Identify and launch new supply channels such as female riders, refugees, micro-financing, and e-bikes to diversify and sustain fleet growth. Manage the full lifecycle of 3PL partnerships, from selection and onboarding to performance management and contract renewals. Set clear KPIs and SLAs for 3PL partners, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and rider quality. Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key 3PL partners to drive alignment and operational excellence. Lead and manage the on-ground operations team to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, and service quality. Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including rider supply rate, EPH, order-on-time percentage, and churn rate. Implement standardized processes and digital tools to enhance control, visibility, and scalability across operations. Coach and develop a high-performing team of managers, seniors, and specialists across supply, 3PLs, and operations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align on strategies and deliverables. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and rider satisfaction. Drive automation and technology-enabled initiatives to improve visibility and performance management. Oversee equipment management including uniforms, delivery boxes, and e-bikes to ensure consistent quality and operational standards. Ensure adherence to performance KPIs such as supply run rate, rider churn and retention, 3PL compliance, rider NPS, EPH, and operational coverage. Build long-term plans to sustain growth and strengthen Talabat s market leadership position.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience in compliance or auditing</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles within fast-paced environments. Track record in the FoodTech logistics sector is a plus. Management consulting experience is also considered a significant advantage</li><li>Management experience is advantageous, with the ability to effectively manage direct reports and foster a strong team culture.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to dig into detail, manage complexity, and drive decision-making</li><li>Advanced proficiency in GSheet, demonstrating a strong analytical skill set.</li><li>Ability to reason analytically, logically, and in a consistent fashion</li><li>Strong English written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging across a diverse set of stakeholders, Arabic is good to have but not necessary</li><li>Extremely organized and process-driven, with a proven ability to manage a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities and managing expectations well</li><li>Able to travel to all talabat markets as needed.</li></ul>
