Able to resolve technical challenges and liaison with other relevant disciplines and external stakeholders. Previous work experience for an umbilical manufacturer is preferable. Have experience in subsea umbilical crossing design, loadout, installation, and J-tube pulling operations. Have experience in power cable crossing design, loadout, installation, shore approach, and shore pulling analysis. Experience in and understanding of subsea umbilical pre-commissioning / commissioning operations<br><br>Primary Duties And Responsibilities<br><br>Provide technical design and engineering services in subsea umbilical and power cable Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with Company procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Conduct Umbilical and Power Cable Engineering (Offshore) activities of in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning. Ensure the required Company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed, in workscopes and whilst conducting Pipeline Engineering (Offshore) activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices. Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply Company standards and amendments to external standards. Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirements. Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery. Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance. To review and comment on Package Vendor documents. Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices. Act as the focal point for technical matters and take a lead role on behalf of Company on matters associated with subsea facilities.
