<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Mechanical Draftsman</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare detailed <strong>shop drawings</strong>, <strong>coordination drawings</strong>, and <strong>as-built drawings</strong> for Mechanical (MEP) services.</p></li><li><p>Develop accurate drawings for <strong>HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems</strong> based on project specifications.</p></li><li><p>Review engineering drawings, design documents, and technical specifications before drafting.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Site Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve drawing conflicts.</p></li><li><p>Update drawings based on site changes, consultant comments, and project revisions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and client requirements.</p></li><li><p>Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.</p></li><li><p>Support project teams by providing technical drafting assistance throughout the project lifecycle.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Electrical Draftsman</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare detailed <strong>shop drawings</strong>, <strong>coordination drawings</strong>, and <strong>as-built drawings</strong> for Electrical systems.</p></li><li><p>Produce accurate <strong>Lighting & Power Layouts</strong>, <strong>Containment Drawings</strong>, <strong>Substation Drawings</strong>, <strong>DB Schedules</strong>, and <strong>Schematic Diagrams</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and consultant requirements.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Site Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free drawings.</p></li><li><p>Revise drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and construction changes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, and local regulations.</p></li><li><p>Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and project records.</p></li><li><p>Provide drafting support during project execution and final handover documentation.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ol><li><p>Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>3–5 years of GCC/MEP drafting experience</strong> is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in <strong>AutoCAD</strong> with the ability to prepare accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of MEP standards, construction drawings, and coordination requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.</p></li><li><p>Familiar with local and international drafting standards.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Ready to join immediately or within a short notice period will be an advantage.</p></li></ol><p></p></section>
