Roles & Responsibilities

Mechanical Draftsman

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for Mechanical (MEP) services.

• Develop accurate drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems based on project specifications.

• Review engineering drawings, design documents, and technical specifications before drafting.

• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Site Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve drawing conflicts.

• Update drawings based on site changes, consultant comments, and project revisions.

• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and client requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.

• Support project teams by providing technical drafting assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

Electrical Draftsman

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for Electrical systems.

• Produce accurate Lighting & Power Layouts, Containment Drawings, Substation Drawings, DB Schedules, and Schematic Diagrams.

• Interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and consultant requirements.

• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Site Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free drawings.

• Revise drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and construction changes.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, and local regulations.

• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and project records.

• Provide drafting support during project execution and final handover documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 3–5 years of GCC/MEP drafting experience is preferred.

3. Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings.

4. Good understanding of MEP standards, construction drawings, and coordination requirements.

5. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

6. Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.

7. Familiar with local and international drafting standards.

8. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

9. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

10. Ready to join immediately or within a short notice period will be an advantage.
