Job Summary:The Factory/Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire marble factory production process and material management, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, timely delivery, and compliance with safety and operational standards. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and controlling production operations to meet company targets while optimizing resources and reducing costs.<br>Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Operations Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and weekly production activities. Ensure timely execution of cutting, polishing, edging, fabrication, and finishing processes. Monitor production output to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements. Optimize machinery utilization and minimize production downtime. Selection of material that is suitable and in sufficient quantity that can cover the project needs.2. Quality Control Implement and monitor quality standards for marble slabs, tiles, and customized items. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet company and client specifications. Take corrective actions on defects, rework, and non-conformance issues.3. Team Management Supervise and lead production supervisors, machine operators, technicians, and labor workforce. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper training for staff. Promote teamwork, discipline, and safety practices across the production floor.4. Machinery & Maintenance Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for cutting machines, polishing lines, CNC machines, and other equipment. Ensure maximum machine efficiency and minimize breakdowns. Work with the maintenance team to schedule servicing and repair tasks.5. Inventory & Material Management Monitor raw materials, consumables, and tools required for production. Ensure accurate stock levels of marble blocks, slabs, adhesives, blades, and other items. Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of materials. Selection of material quality that is suitable to each order needs. Decides the suitable and economic resources to be used in fabrication.6. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and factory regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct training for workers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.7. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports. Increasing the opportunity to compete in the market.3- Waste Management & Percentage reduction Maintain and reduce the waste percentage in fabrication to the percentage planned. Re-usage and/or Re-sale of the waste and transformation to end product. Validate that returned cheque advice does not exceed 30-day validity based on customer default.<br><br>Case File Preparation <br><br> Compile physical case files and ensure full updates in RCS, including scanned copies of all supporting documentation. Upload relevant attachments in the RCS for internal recordkeeping.<br><br>Police Complaint Submission <br><br> Draft and submit formal complaints to the Police Department, ensuring all required documentation is attached (including CB’s request for binding the defendant).
