<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> The Registered Dietetic Technician assumes responsibility for direct and indirect patient care activities as delegated and/or supervised by a Registered Dietitian. The Registered Dietetic Technician provides food and nutrition services to patients within his/her individual scope of practice and demonstrates competence and utilizes the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) to assist with assessing nutrition status and developing and implementing nutrition care plans for patients at nutrition risk. As an active member of the patient care team, the Registered Dietetic Technician supports/assists the Registered Dietitian with patient support, clinical and non-clinical activities, and education as appropriate, incorporating the principles of family–centered care. In the Special Feed Unit (SFU), the Registered Dietetic Technician is responsible for preparing and distributing specialized infant and pediatric feeds following strict preparation guidelines and procedures for food handling and hygiene. The unit is open 7 days a week including national holidays and staff works a designated rotation.The role requires rotational weekend duties with clinical and SFU working. <h2 class="h5">وصف الوظيفة</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> يتولى فني التغذية المسجل مسؤولية أنشطة الرعاية المباشرة وغير المباشرة للمرضى كما يتم تفويضها و/أو الإشراف عليها من قبل أخصائي تغذية مسجل. يوفر فني التغذية المسجل خدمات الغذاء والتغذية للمرضى ضمن نطاق ممارسته الفردي ويظهر الكفاءة ويستخدم عملية ورامغ التغذية والمصطلحات (NCPT) للمساعدة في تقييم الوضع الغذائي وتطوير وتنفيذ خطط رعاية غذائية للمرضى المعرضين للأخطار الغذائية. كعضو فعال في فريق رعاية المرضى، يدعم/يساعد فني التغذية المسجل أخصائي التغذية المسجل في دعم المرضى والنشاطات السريرية وغير السريرية والتعليم وفقاً للاحتياجات، مع تطبيق مبادئ رعاية مركّزة على الأسرة. في وحدة التغذية الخاصة (SFU)، يكون فني التغذية المسجل مسؤولاً عن إعداد وتوزيع التغذيات الخاصة بالرضّع والأطفال وفقًا لإرشادات صارمة في التحضير وإجراءات التعامل مع الطعام والنظافة. الوحدة مفتوحة 7 أيام في الأسبوع بما في ذلك العطل الوطنية ويعمل الطاقم بناءً على مناوبة محددة. وتتطلب الدور واجبات أسبوعية دورية مع العمل السريري وSFU. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar for a Diesel Pump and Injector Technician. The technician will inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble diesel fuel pumps and injectors using appropriate tools and testing equipment. Daily tasks include performing calibration and testing, identifying and replacing faulty components, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards. The role involves maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize jobs, and providing technical support and guidance on diesel system issues. The technician will also help keep the workshop organized, follow health and safety procedures, and occasionally support training of junior team members. Qualifications Supervisory Skills and Team Management skills to oversee workflows, support colleagues, and coordinate tasks in the workshop. Analytical Skills and Technical Support capabilities to diagnose faults, interpret test results, and assist in resolving complex diesel system issues. Strong Communication skills to interact clearly with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding repair status and technical findings. Proven experience repairing and maintaining diesel pumps and injectors, including calibration, testing, and use of specialized diagnostic tools. Vocational diploma or technical certification in automotive engineering, diesel mechanics, or a related field; additional manufacturer-specific training is an advantage. Understanding of safety standards and best practices for working with diesel systems and workshop equipment. Ability to read technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagrams, and to follow structured maintenance procedures. Previous experience in a similar workshop or service center environment in the automotive or industrial sector is preferred.
