Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routing protocols . Administer Windows Server and Linux server environments . Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and access controls . Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint, Teams, and related services . Configure and maintain system and network logging and support integration with SIEM and security monitoring platforms . Conduct periodic reviews of firewall rules, privileged accounts, system configurations, patches, and security controls. Maintain accurate network diagrams, asset inventories, configuration documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation . Work closely with client infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, cloud, and support teams. Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Provide onsite technical support and participate in client meetings as required. Follow change management, incident management, problem management, and information security processes. Ensure infrastructure and security activities comply with applicable organisational policies and security standards. Job Summary <br> <p><span>The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the initiation, preparation, processing and execution of Global Structured Finance transactions for the Group’s private corporate and institutional (including government) clientele and thereby facilitating growth and expansion of the corporate banking business.</span></p><br><p><span> He / she will act as one of the Transaction Officers who will be required to support the timely and proper execution of Global Structured Finance transactions assigned to the team by the Regional Head Global Structured Finance or the SVP Corporate & Institutional Banking. Job Summary <br> <p>The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the collection process for assigned portfolio of delinquent Retail customers of QNB (as assigned by SVP, Retail Recovery Control) with the objective of progressively reducing overall overdue credit exposure of the bank (Retail NPL Portfolio) through implementation of loan re-structuring, collection and collateral asset sale strategies using coordination and interaction with the defaulting customers, Legal personnel, the state police authorities and external debt collection agencies hired by the bank, if any. The Retail NPL Portfolio will include but not limited to over-due personal loans and advances, late credit cards payments and defaulted vehicle loans and mortgage loans. The Retail Division Collection Unit will report on a dotted line basis to the SVP, Retail Recovery Control. The incumbent will closely coordinate with, and monitor and supervise, the Retail Collection Unit to monitor and control Retail NPL accounts’ operations to comply with the agreed remedial account strategy, bank’s procedures and guidelines and to achieve bank’s objectives.</p><br> <br> <br><br> Main Responsibilities <br> <p>A. Shareholder & Financial: - - - - - - - - - - </p><br><p>Implement the bank has approved overdue loans collections strategy to minimize loss to the bank. Continuously </p><br><p>identify ways to improve collection process and recommend implementation. </p><br><p>Assist with analysis of the bank’s Retail NPL portfolio to identify bucket-wise trends and formulate strategies to </p><br><p>ensure progressive reduction in bucket-wise outstanding / overdue figures, especially for the higher-end buckets </p><br><p>(associated with high probability of default). For the lower-end buckets (representing one or two instalments </p><br><p>overdue), ensure proactive steps are immediately taken to collect the overdue amounts on timely basis to prevent </p><br><p>the outstanding amounts from moving to the higher-end default buckets. </p><br><p>Pro-actively participate in the preparation / updating of policies and procedures to meet the needs of current </p><br><p>market and working environment to protect the best interests of the bank and to ensure efficient and effective </p><br><p>process flow of the Department’s functions. </p><br><p>Assist the remedial / collection strategy for re-structuring / re-scheduling of defaulting clients’ accounts, obtain </p><br><p>approval from relevant approving authority, negotiate and finalize with customer and implement approved work</p><br><p>out strategy and action plan in an efficient and effective manner, and continuously identify ways to improve </p><br><p>collection process, and ensure close follow up and monitoring for compliance with agreements to minimize losses </p><br><p>for the bank. </p><br><p>Assist the collection and provisioning process in accordance with QNB’s policies and procedures and in </p><br><p>compliance with QCB and other relevant regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry norms. </p><br><p>Work closely and coordinate with all concerned QNB Business units, Credit Risk officers, Department’s staff and </p><br><p>third party collection agents engaged by the bank to aggressively pursue their collection objectives and goals. </p><br><p>Adhere to, and achieve collection control team Benchmark levels, and KPIs, as stated by EVP, Group Remedial. </p><br><p>Implements KPI’s and best practices for Retail Recovery Control. </p><br><p>Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise </p><br><p>benefits for the bank. </p><br><p>Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. </p><br><p>B. Customer (Internal & External): - - - - - </p><br><p>Ensure full knowledge and understanding of all Retail NPL cases assigned including reviewing all customer and </p><br><p>deal information including conducting site visits, and assessing the true status of the customer’s business, </p><br><p>Maintain close links with market intelligence to quickly respond to identified risk issues and potential problems. </p><br><p>Build and maintain strong and effective working relationship with the Retail Banking Division – Collections Unit, </p><br><p>the QNB Legal Department and all other concerned QNB units, as well as external third party professionals, legal </p><br><p>consultants, government officials, etc. to achieve the Department’s goals and objectives. </p><br><p>Keep close tabs and follow up on customer activities and whereabouts through communication with such </p><br><p>customer’s employer, Telecommunication companies, Ministry of Interior information centers, credit bureaus, etc. </p><br><p>Implement policies/ procedures and related processes pertaining to the Retail NPL collections function, which </p><br><p>includes guidelines for initiating contact with the errant customers (verbal/ written reminders), filing of charges with </p><br><p>C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - - - - - - - - - - - - - </p><br><p>Work closely and proactively with Retail Banking and Asset & Wealth Management Business units, and or the </p><br><p>Early Warning officers to identify non-performing customers. </p><br><p>Collect updated information on the identified Retail NPL customer by conducting comprehensive checking with all </p><br><p>possible resources including QCB Credit Bureau, other bankers, suppliers, buyers, competitors and other relevant </p><br><p>third parties [without duplicating checking already made by the Early Warning officers]. </p><br><p>Assign / transfer the overdue Retail accounts to the Retail Collection Unit for day-to-day management as soon as </p><br><p>deemed necessary and appropriate (after exhaustive efforts by the business area to settle the overdue balances </p><br><p>have failed). </p><br><p>Supervise, monitor and control the Retail Collection Unit’s activities to ensure proper implementation of agreed </p><br><p>collection strategies in an efficient and effective manner, and in compliance with the bank’s policies and. </p><br><p>Procedures, as well as QCB regulations. Immediately advised the bank’s Legal personnel of such Retail NPL </p><br><p>accounts and provide them with relevant legal documentation related to the exposure as early as possible so that </p><br><p>timely action can be initiated to avoid further deterioration of the account and or initiate early recovery of the </p><br><p>overdue amounts including conducting thorough legal documentation review and security / collateral confirmation </p><br><p>and re-valuation to assess the current legal and collateral position of the bank to formulate the appropriate </p><br><p>remedial, re-structuring / and collection strategy for such account with the best interests of the bank in mind and or </p><br><p>to assist in building up bank’s case against the customer. </p><br><p>Determine updated collateral [real estate and movable assets] values and mark to market values of securities </p><br><p>pledged – if any, and assess the liquidity of such collateral to estimate recovery potential upon liquidation scenario </p><br><p>execution. </p><br><p>Recommend, in coordination with Retail Collection Unit, engagement of competent and reputable external debt </p><br><p>collectors to augment retail collection efforts, especially for overseas defaulters overseas, and manage the </p><br><p>relationship by ensuring the existence of a process whereby timely and updated information regarding defaulting / </p><br><p>absconding customers is provided to them to help the agencies in their efforts to track such customers; and in turn </p><br><p>periodic collection status reports are given to the Department to update us on developments. Also, will act as the Transaction Officer who will be primarily responsible to ensure timely and proper execution of Global Structured Finance transactions assigned to him/ her by the SVP of Loan Syndications & Distribution and EVP of Global Structured Finance. He / she will also be responsible for undertaking special tasks and assignments given by the SVP of Loan Syndications & Distribution and EVP of Global Structured Finance.<br><br>Main Responsibilities<br><br> Shareholder & Financial: Proactively participate in the formulation and implementation of strategies, business plans and budgets of the Unit in line with overall objectives of QNB Group. Support the Head of Loan Syndications & Distribution in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance monitoring and quality measurement of the Global Structured Finance Unit and monitor Unit’s achievements on periodic basis. Meet the Unit’s target budget and achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets for Global Structured Financerelated transactions in accordance with QNB’s overall corporate banking budget and strategy. Supports credit related decision making process by ensuring availability of sound and quality information/ analysis necessary for accurate credit risk assessment and mitigation. Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency, and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize benefits for the Bank. Manage all aspects of assigned transactions and products to maximize product potential and profitability. Implements KPI’s and best practices for VP Loan Syndications and Distribution Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent Customer (Internal & External): Primarily responsible for collection, analysis and storage of relevant business, financial and operational information on the Unit’s borrowers, transactions and bank counterparties and correspondents as required by KYC and other bank and regulatory policies and procedures. Conducts proactive gathering, analysis and reporting of market and business information (current market conditions and trends, competitor actions, customer preferences as well as other market and industry developments) through regularly interaction with key market participants (banks, major corporations, government entities) to collect general market intelligence and obtain feedback on QNB's position and stature in the local, regional and international markets. Ensures that relevant information obtained is provided to the concerned parties in the Bank for necessary action if any. Initiates, maintains and deepens relationships with banks, financial institutions, project sponsors and other market players who are active in Loan Syndications & Distribution in order to ensure QNB is well positioned to identify future business opportunities, benefit from business potential and meet business objectives related to Global Structured Finance activities. Continually keep abreast with the local, regional and international financial markets and economic environment to be informed about potential projects that could translate into possible business opportunities for the QNB Group. Maintains good team work, provide support, assistance and cooperation with other members of Global Structured Finance, both domestically and internationally. Builds and maintains strong and effective relationships with all other related units to achieve Group’s goals/objectives. Ensures prompt and efficient solution of operational and administrative problems and provides quick and satisfactory response on queries of customers and counterparties when required. Provides timely and accurate information to Group’s senior management, external and internal auditors and the Group’s compliance functions when required. To assist customers in all their queries on Bank’s product and seek solution to their requests. Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives. Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): Responsible for regular and proactive interfacing with officers of Domestic and International Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions, Private Banking, Business Intelligence and Economic Research, as well as other QNB Group entities to identify potential Global Structured Finance transactions that can lead to business opportunities for the Unit. Acts as Primary Transaction Officer responsible for the structuring, credit processing, preparation, loan documentation, execution and distribution of assigned Global Structured Finance transactions. Primarily responsible to ensure prompt, efficient and timely performance, execution and delivery of required tasks related to Global Structured Finance activities. Provides administrative, operations and logistical support and supervision to Global Structured Finance team, Primarily responsible for data collection for, and preparation of, comprehensive credit proposals, credit and marketing presentations (including customer, business, project, market and or industry information), for new / prospective customers; or periodic reviews and or monitoring of existing customers, in accordance with Credit Policy and procedures of the Bank Performs comprehensive due diligence, reviews and analyses Global Structured Finance transactions, assigns transaction ratings. Provides recommendations and distribution strategies to the QNB’s decision making authorities. Primarily responsible for reviewing the credit worthiness and financial feasibility of the individual project financing proposals based on analysis of current and future market conditions, debt service capability of the expected cash flows and other financial information of the individual borrowers and projects. Ensure QNB’s interests are adequately safeguarded before recommending approval of the credit. Provides support to Relationship Manager in the preparation of Credit Summary Report, credit proposals and other credit and business memos, in accordance with Credit Policy and procedures and adequately address all relevant risk factors and ensure that international credit standards, procedures, requirements and practices are adhered to. Responsible for the preparation of Information Memorandum and other information to be provided to prospective lenders for the purpose of conducting their due diligence to enable them to participate in Global Structured Finance transactions arranged by QNB. Coordinates with internal and/ or external legal counsel to ensure that all legal and security documents required for the transactions are complete, prepared in proper format and comply with the highest international standards. Primarily responsible for the review, completion and execution of appropriate, legal and security documents, and other supporting documents as required by law for the respective Global Structured Finance transaction. Primarily responsible to ensure that transaction’s legal and security documents are legally binding and enforceable to protect the interests of the Bank, and ensures that all legal, credit and administrative requirements are met in accordance with Credit Policy, Regulatory convention and international market standards, practices and norms. Primarily responsible for the proper and efficient execution of Global Structured Finance deals, including communicating and interfacing with clients, banks and other third parties involved in Global Structured Finance transactions, in line with the function’s policies and procedures and in consideration of the Bank’s obligations towards its clients and bank counterparties. Liaises with the other parties comprising the project financing consortium, which would be dependent on the role assigned to the other parties within the consortium. Ensures that copies of duly executed Facility Agreement and other legal and security documents, including conditions precedent, are immediately provided to Credit Department and Agency Unit as per procedures of the Bank. Responsible for collating and storing information on the Unit's transactions, activities, and performance in a timely, accurate and efficient manner as required by the existing procedures. Maintains and updates data base for Unit’s activities, customer contacts, existing and potential clients’ information, transactions and deal pipelines, banking opportunities and other relevant and critical information for the Unit. Provides support to Relationship Manager for conducting required periodic reviews and updates for existing Global Structured Finance transactions’ performance, and other risk assessment techniques in line with Credit Risk Policies and requirements. Maintains and updates standard and user friendly business and financial reports using an internal data warehouse and all relevant public information sources as per Global Structured Finance Unit team requirement and inquiries. Responsible for preparation and delivery of periodic as well as ad hoc MIS reports on transactional and Unit performance against approved business plans, budgets, goals and objectives. Supports the Unit, by providing technical, operational, credit and management guidance and supervision, to enable them to perform their functions and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Is responsible for preparing, and periodically updating as per Unit’s requirements, QNB Credentials, Marketing presentations, Market update Reports, League Tables, Work in Progress, Deals Done and Deals Turned down reports and other industry and market reports that record market activities and QNB’s participation in such transactions and ranking in the industry. Implement the ‘one-point of contact’ approach to respond to and resolve all customer’s and other parties’ needs and queries pertaining to Global Structured Finance transactions. Performs cross selling activities to enhance QNB’s overall relationship with customers by coordinating activities with other QNB units/ departments. Ensures adherence to all QNB Group policies procedures and regulatory requirements. Interprets and applies customer research and feedback into tangible product development initiatives by providing inputs to relevant units of the QNB Group. Ensures provision of timely and accurate information to Department Head to be given to the QNB's senior management team, external and internal auditors and the Group's compliance function as and when required or appropriate. Represent the Bank at professional and industry organizations/ venues to ensure dissemination of knowledge of QNB's offerings relating to Global Structured Finance. Performs any other tasks assigned by the direct manager pertaining to Corporate and Institutional Banking Division or QNB’s Global Structured Finance activities. At least 12 years of relevant experience in a corporate banking industry or related fields. Major in Law, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Marketing required. MBA preferred but not required Well-informed of the market dynamics and competitive structure, industry environment, practices and rules and regulations for the corporate banking customer segment. Advanced skills in financial analysis and financial modelling preferred.
