Maintain effective coordination with construction, project, and operations teams to resolve SHES issues and support safe project execution.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelors degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or engineering or NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, SHES related NVQ level 5, or British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.</p><p>8 years' experience in SHES in the Oil & Gas Industry.</p><p>Broad experience in execution of major projects and in the Brownfield of Onshore/Offshore production facilities.</p><p>Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.</p><p>Knowledge of relevant SHES management systems and programs.</p><p>Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.</p><p>Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decisions using presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.</p><p>Ability to manage development and implementation of Projects Managements Systems adapted to Oil & Gas industry.</p><p>Requires strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.</p>

We are currently seeking Wavers to support the safe and efficient operation of a high-profile tourism project involving quad bike activities in Qatar.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Guide and signal quad bike riders at designated operational points. Use clear hand signals, flags or approved signalling methods to control movement. Help maintain safe separation between quad bikes, pedestrians and other vehicles. Support safe entry, exit, queuing and movement within designated activity areas. Provide basic directions and guidance to visitors and riders. Coordinate closely with Traffic Control, Marshalls, HSE and operational teams. Identify and immediately report unsafe behaviour, hazards or incidents. Assist with crowd and queue management during busy periods. Follow all site safety and emergency procedures.<br><br>Candidate Requirements:<br><br>Previous experience as a Waver, Traffic Marshal, Flagman, Banksman, Event Marshal, Parking Marshal, Security Officer or similar role preferred. Good awareness of traffic and pedestrian safety. Able to communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors. Confident working around moving vehicles/quad bikes and members of the public. Qatar/GCC experience is advantageous. Available for shift-based operations.
