Collaborate with data scientists on model handoff, packaging, and success metrics. Work with software engineers to integrate models into client-facing applications and services. Apply software-engineering best practices including testing, code review, and documentation to machine-learning systems. <p>Accountable to ensure that department assigned field projects lifting engineering, coordination, plans, offshore mobilization etc. are conducted in accordance with approved Scope of Work, drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and standards & specifications. Oversee and provide guidance/advice to contractor on all offshore heavy lifts and subsea installation activities to ensure that they are performed as per approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality, and material requirements. Manage and guide the contractor during engineering, review, comment and approve contractor's construction engineering documents in PDMS. Attend engineering workshops such as Constructability review, SIMOPS, Schedule Risk Analysis, 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, Lifting Plan reviews and provide inputs to ensure that contractor conducts these workshops complying to requirements. Project focal point to manage all lifting activities including coordination with internal stake holders such as PTS, Operations and Project team and external stake holders such as Contractors, third party agencies etc. Participate in all engineering workshops during FEED and EPIC. Ensure Contractor execute offshore heavy lifts, installation in accordance with standards, specifications, and approved drawings. Monitor, control and report Contractor's performance, man-power deployment, plant and equipment's movements, construction slippages etc. Act as the construction Risk Management representative to identify Construction Risk events, the effects & consequences, propose mitigation measures and take ownership to ensure mitigation measures have been implemented at site. Liaise with senior discipline engineers throughout all phases of the project for offshore lifting related matters including inputs during the detailed engineering and procurement stages. Review contractors' lifting plans, certificates, schedules, method statements, procedures etc. to ensure compliance with project as well as requirements. Maintain a daily record of progress noting special comments. Reports to supervisor work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommend corrective actions. Monitor and control of work permits to ensure that contractor compliance with conditions fixed on consolidated work permits. Interact and interface with other contractors, projects, departments regularly to identify and resolve all offshore lifting related matters especially liaison with operations, PTS and approved agencies. Support in development of new standards, specifications, guidelines etc. and support enhancement of existing corporate documents.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Sc. (or) Higher National Diploma (or) Diploma in Mechanical (or) Petroleum Engineering in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University discipline or equivalent plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 to 12 years overall experience in coordination and supervision of offshore heavy lifts, non-routine lifts and offshore installation of EPIC projects such as Oil and Gas Production / wellhead platforms, Jackets and subsea installations. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Coordinate the activities of QA/QC Inspectors, contract hired engineers/inspectors and NDT Technicians, in compliance with procedure requirements.</p><p>Conduct metallurgical failure analysis on failed plants or offshore components to establish the cause of failure and recommendations.</p><p>Provide expertise and support for QA/QC matters related to procurement of materials and equipment.</p><p>Review purchase requisition for inspection and certification requirements, technical bid evaluation, appointment of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) inspectors and ensure the inspection of material receiving at warehouse.</p><p>Analyze and review all critical repair instructions including Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and QA/QC reports that are generated by QA/QC inspectors and engineers, listing alternative testing and inspection methods as applicable for repair or modification.</p><p>Participate and provide necessary inputs for startup readiness, lessons learnt, Formal Risk Assessment (FRA), Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) from QA/QC perspective.</p><p>Provide technical input on the Scope of Work (SOW) for maintenance contracts related to repair and modification works, participating in Technical Bid evaluations for the contracts, reviewing all Contractor documents and ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements.</p><p>Coordinate and perform technical audits as requested on suppliers' and contractors' Quality Management Systems, providing technical evaluation and recommendation, conducting follow-up for the observations and corrective actions. Promote quality awareness among Maintenance, Supply Department and Contractors through training, knowledge sharing, and procedure roll out sessions. </p><p>Plan and ensure timely execution of inspection and certification of Gas Cylinders, Portable Tanks and Lifting Equipment as per QA/QC section KPI.</p><p>Communicate understanding of policies and procedures for Project and Plant QA/QC, e.g., material receiving inspection and control of welding, assisting in revision or updating of the same including support for various other QA/QC procedures.</p><p>Provide support to Operations Readiness Plan (ORP) process, following up on deliverables, meeting milestone target dates and ensuring proper handover/completion as per Company policy and procedure.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelor's degree in engineering.</p><p>Professional certifications in Welding, NDT, Inspection or Auditing.</p><p>4 years' experience in QA/QC related activities with the oil and gas industry.</p><p>Conversant in the field of design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection and installation of process equipment and piping, including troubleshooting of welding and QA/QC issues.</p><p>Proficient in written and spoken English.</p><p>Computer literate.</p><p>Good interpersonal and leadership skills.</p><p>Data analysis and reporting skills.</p><p>Ability to provide required guidance and technical support to the team.</p><p></p></section>
