This includes, for his/her category respectively:<br><br> structuring and deploying category management practices. setting up strong vendor management from vendor market analysis to vendor administrative database maintenance and link with TPRM. organizing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) according to supplier criticality. supporting the SVP Procurement Category Management on end-to-end procurement process on large procurement requests. developing connections with key stakeholders.<br><br>Main Responsibilities<br><br> Shareholder & Financial: Implements KPI’s and best practices for the AVP role. Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank, which will be translated into the Category Strategies and performance plans. Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent and delegate authority to the respective staff and monitor exercise of the same. Demonstrate clear understanding of the important factors behind the bank's financial & non-financial performance. Customer (Internal & External): Assist internal customers in all their procurement requests/activities and seek solution to their requests. Structure and deploy category management practices on his/her respective category: Subsegment categories and organize cross-functional working teams. Consolidate, map, and analyze the current situation on the categories in scope: past/current vendors, contracts, needs/requests, etc. Define levers of improvement (buy cheaper, buy better, buy less) in the short / medium / long term. Define and apply best practice contracting terms by category. Set up strong vendor management from vendor market analysis to vendor administrative database maintenance and link with TPRM on his/her category: Consolidate and update active (and then preferred vendors) repository. Provide outside-in vendor market view and opportunities, lead RFI process and define with business preferred vendor lists. Define target supplier panel strategy. Organize Supplier Relationship Management on his/her category: Classify vendors according to SRM best practices and define rules of engagement. Define interactions modes between vendors and various stakeholders in QNB, and communicate to vendors. Collect vendor feedback performance from all different involved parties in QNB, and reciprocally from vendors. Organize feedback sessions with vendors and QNB stakeholders and define improvement plans if relevant. Support across the end-to-end procurement process on large procurement requests on his/her category: Source to contract: Ensure progress as per expected timing, support hurdles removal, appear as main counterpart of the purchasing entity. Procure to pay: Resolve issues with supplier in case of escalation. Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives. Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): Provide input to T&C team on procurement best practices, technical specifications and operational insights for his/her respective category in alignment with the SVP Procurement Category Management, on an ongoing basis. Support the tasks and knowledge of wider Procurement team, ensuring that effective controls and resources are available to manage and control work volumes. Continuous Improvement: Set examples by leading improvement initiatives through cross-functional teams ensuring successes. Identify and encourage people to adopt practices better than the industry standard. Continuously encourage and recognise the importance of thinking out-of-the-box within the team. Encourage, solicit and reward innovative ideas even in day-to-day issues. Hold meetings with staff and assess their performance and your teams overall performance on a regular basis. Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts within the team members. Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities: Comply with the defined Group Procurement Policies and Procedures. Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements including, but not limited to, Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing Policy). Understand and effectively perform your role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify measure, monitor, manage and report risks. Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy. Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting and remediation, as appropriate, in accordance with the Operational Risk Management requirements. Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training provided by the Bank, attain, and maintain the required levels of competence. Attend mandatory (internal and external) seminars as instructed by the Bank. Other: Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information. Maintaining utmost confidentiality concerning customer and internal bank information obtained during the course of business and provide such information on a need to know basis only to Senior Management of QNB, Audit and Compliance functions, and relevant Regulators. All other ad hoc duties/activities related to QNB that management might request from time to time.<br><br>Education And Experience Requirements<br><br> University graduate (Bachelors) preferably with a Major related field of study Professional accreditation related to the function is an asset. Attend to guests’ requests and queries courteously and promptly in the course of performing duties. Complete all information on the Allocation Sheet for all assigned rooms, marking status, linen replaced and special requests. Complete the Allocation sheet with the time commenced servicing the room, any running that is required, times that DND signs were placed on the door and record any maintenance issues. Report to the Housekeeping Supervisor any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons in rooms, missing or damaged hotel property, and lost and found items. Clean, tidy and vacuum the housekeeping pantries, ensure pantry doors are kept locked at all times and lights out when not in use. Stack all stocks neatly in the pantry. Sign out, sign in, and restock correctly the cleaning bucket. Maintain in good working order all equipment allocated for cleaning on a daily basis. Vacuum guest floor corridors as assigned and keep then clean throughout the day including dusting, spot marking and polishing. Maintain the vacuum cleaners in good working condition with each vacuum cleaner to be returned daily fully cleaned and in working order. All breakages to be reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Your day to day<br><br>Ensure that the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, hygiene, security and presentation are in maintained all assigned rooms. Perform cleaning duties in guest apartments in accordance with the status or the guest’s stay. Inspect and clean all facilities, furniture and fixtures, and report any damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping coordinator, for action and follow up. Attend to guests’ requests and queries courteously and promptly in the course of performing duties. Complete all information on the Allocation Sheet for all assigned rooms, marking status, linen replaced and special requests. Complete the Allocation sheet with the time commenced servicing the room, any running that is required, times that DND signs were placed on the door and record any maintenance issues. Report to the Housekeeping Supervisor any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons in rooms, missing or damaged hotel property, and lost and found items. Clean, tidy and vacuum the housekeeping pantries, ensure pantry doors are kept locked at all times and lights out when not in use. Stack all stocks neatly in the pantry. Sign out, sign in, and restock correctly the cleaning bucket. Maintain in good working order all equipment allocated for cleaning on a daily basis. Vacuum guest floor corridors as assigned and keep then clean throughout the day including dusting, spot marking and polishing. Maintain the vacuum cleaners in good working condition with each vacuum cleaner to be returned daily fully cleaned and in working order. All breakages to be reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Maintain maximum security of guest information on work sheets by keeping inside the guest room at all times and by not opening any room door for either guests or employees. POSITION OBJECTIVE The position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing merchandise for use in the shop<br><br>Key Responsibiities<br><br> Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information Inspect the quality of the products and report the discrepancies to store manager / assistant store manager about damaged products Classify and stock the products in the stock room as per the store procedures to ensure quick availability of the product Tag the newly arrived stock and / or return the products as per the instruction of senior Assist the sales staff in replenishing stocks on the shelves in order to ensure availability of products at all times Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale / Festival period Must be physically fit and ability of heavy lifting Record the inventory inward / outward and maintain the report of the same Check for missing price tags and report the same Ability to heavy lift and minimum of 10 kg weight Assist during Stock Take processes
