The role ensures management and employees comply with ITSM rules and regulations, IT policies and procedures are followed, and organizational behavior meets the Bank's Standards of Conduct.<br><br>Essential Duties & Responsibilities By Dimensions<br><br> Shareholder & Financial Develop, maintain, and revise ITSM policies and procedures for ITD operations and compliance. Support the day-to-day operation of the ITSM Program. Support corrective action plans to resolve IT-related issues and provide guidance to prevent recurring problems. Delegate and direct service tasks, monitor project progress, and manage service team members to ensure objectives are achieved. Assist with administrative activities including invoice management, order processing, and inventory tracking. Monitor Service Desk performance and improve service methods to increase productivity and customer satisfaction. Ecommerce merchants file payment processing and assure on daily basis that all files are loaded to the acquiring relevant system. P. O. S transactions file processing into merchant relevant systems, on daily basis verifying all transactions recorded into the bank host. Preparing/Reformatting MICROS and AMEX cards files by using merchant dedicated bank system and assuring daily processing. Creating merchant electronic statement certificates and forwarding them to secure merchant email IDs. Daily involvement in various bank merchant systems (Base24, Prime, Oracle, MIGS, Cyber Source, MICROS, Terminal Management System and Oracle) configuration activities as assigned by the Unit Head. Investigating and resolving merchant reversals, debit, refund and disputed bank account entries. Handling merchants’ phone calls and visits by answering their questions regarding POS machine issues or escalating them to concerned parties for support. Support International Branches and subsidiaries. Learning & Knowledge: Keep abreast of developments in the merchant services industry, technological advancements in payment processing and local and international developments. The incumbent is also responsible for managing the operation of safety systems, to ensure that safety systems, procedures and other guidelines are implemented, and standards fully comply with the requirements to ensure safety of the entire Group’s International assets, properties and staff.<br><br>Main Responsibilities<br><br> Shareholder & Financial: - Implements KPI’s and best practices for Safety. - Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. - Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. - Ensure that all QNB Group premises are safe. Customer (Internal & External): - Manage the provision of safety services to all QNB departments, as and when required. - Co-ordinate and manage the relationship with external safety companies. - Anticipate customers’ needs and continuously revisit safety procedures to ensure offering the best standards and leading practice. - Encourage and guide people in exceeding set standards. - Identify emerging customer service problems/ opportunities and provide workable solutions. - Assist customers in all their queries on Bank’s product and seek solution to their requests. - Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. - Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives. - Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Supervise routine, scheduled and emergency safety of all equipment & electrical/ mechanical systems, which are necessary for efficient QNB operations. - Prepare the schedule of tasks for the safety team for day-to-day. - Prepare safety and quality assurance checklist and schedule of safety visits for bank premises. - Prepare the safety program for each year (routine) for all electrical and mechanical equipment in all the Group premises. - Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for the purchase and requisition of any safety equipment, parts as required. - Receive higher approval of works where required and co-ordinate with the Purchasing Department to obtain quotes. - Verify & ensure the record of all security equipment delivered to Branches and monitor the maintenance cost accordingly. - Ensure compliance with all QNB policies and procedures. - Scrutinize all invoices for routine safety works, equipment & other maintenance works and forward them to concerned parties. - Ensure that all safety requirements are maintained. - Co-ordinate and monitor maintenance performed where external service providers are used. - Ensure implementation & compliance of safety policies and procedures in all QNB Group (International premises). - Review & provide guidance /assistance as required on safety systems, and system maintenance contracts for International Branches & subsidiaries - Coordinate with Branches/offices to ensure compliance of safety procedures, periodic maintenance of security equipment, etc.. - Conduct initial investigation of offenses and report findings. - Conduct safety checks to ensure safety equipment are functional (such as fire alarm & firefighting systems etc.) - Collect requirements, prepare design for safety layout, obtain quotes and ensure implementation of integrated security system for new Branches.- Review & provide guidance /assistance as required on safety systems, and system maintenance contracts for International Branches & subsidiaries - Coordinate with Branches/offices to ensure compliance of safety procedures, periodic maintenance of safety equipment, etc... - Coordinate with safety maintenance company on safety issues and to derive appropriate solutions. - Conduct initial investigation of offenses and report findings to the AVP Safety for International Branches and subsidiaries. - Follow up and assist if required, in conducting Fire Drill and safety check-ups to ensure the premises & staff are well aware of Evacuation procedures & safety polices. - Provide guidance and training to safety personnel in International branches on the use of preventive safety equipment.<br><br>Education And Experience Requirements<br><br> University graduate with Safety/Security certifications.
