Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Substation Automation Systems (SAS)<br><br>Location: Doha, Qatar<br><br> Job Family: Engineering & Commissioning<br><br>Position Overview<br><br>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Testing & Commissioning Engineer - Substation Automation Systems (SAS) to support project execution and customer service activities across Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of substation control, automation, and monitoring systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in accordance with project and customer requirements.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Configure, test, and commission Siemens SICAM PAS and SICAM A8000 automation platforms. Perform HMI and SCADA engineering, parameterization, configuration, and Win CC scripting activities. Integrate and commission Bay Control Units (BCUs), protection relays, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), energy meters, and multi-vendor Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs). Engineer, configure, and troubleshoot communication protocols including IEC 61850, Modbus, and IEC 60870-5-104. Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), point-to-point verification, functional testing, interlocking checks, redundancy validation, and end-to-end system testing. Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks, including managed switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and secure remote access solutions. Implement and verify industrial cybersecurity measures and system hardening requirements in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Prepare engineering documentation, including point lists, test procedures, commissioning reports, network diagrams, and as-built documents. Ensure compliance with Siemens Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and customer-specific technical requirements. Support planned shutdowns, energization activities, emergency service interventions, and commissioning works across customer sites throughout Qatar. Collaborate effectively with project teams, customers, and stakeholders while contributing to technical knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Qualifications & Experience<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Substation Automation Systems (SAS), SCADA, or protection and control system commissioning. Proven experience with Siemens SICAM PAS, SICAM A8000, and Win CC platforms. Strong technical knowledge of IEC 61850, Modbus, and IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocols. Experience in the integration and commissioning of protection relays, IEDs, RTUs, and automation equipment from multiple vendors. Sound understanding of industrial networks, OT infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts. Knowledge of SIMARIS Control will be considered an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, technical reporting, and customer communication skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Previous GCC experience is preferred. Relevant certifications in SAS, SCADA, networking, or cybersecurity are considered advantageous. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pavement Data Collection / Processing Engineer to join their growing team. This is a key role responsible for processing, validating, and quality checking pavement condition data while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical excellence across pavement survey projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, validate, and analyze pavement condition data collected from automated survey systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of pavement data, identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and maintain high-quality documentation throughout project delivery.
- Conduct pavement condition assessments, evaluate pavement distresses, and support pavement asset management in accordance with ASTM D6433, LTPP, and PCI standards.
- Utilize LCMS-2, ROMDAS, Data View, PMS, and GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS) to process, manage, and visualize pavement survey data.
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare technical reports, provide project updates, and support the successful delivery of pavement engineering projects.</p><p>-Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline
-5–10 years of experience in pavement engineering, pavement condition assessment, or pavement asset management

-Hands-on experience with LCMS-2 is essential
-Experience reviewing and validating pavement distress data, including cracking, rutting, ravelling, bleeding, texture, and roughness
-Good understanding of ASTM D6433, LTPP, and pavement condition rating systems (PCI preferred)
-Familiarity with ROMDAS, Data View, or similar pavement data processing software
-Experience with Pavement Management Systems (PMS) is highly desirable
-GCC or international pavement survey project experience is preferred

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Engineer – Fit-Out Residential villas, to oversee site execution, coordinate installation teams, and ensure projects are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.<br>Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities for interior fit-out works, including gypsum, flooring, wall finishes, glass, stone, ceilings. Oversee the installation of joinery works, including kitchens, wardrobes, doors, wall cladding, vanities, custom furniture, and other bespoke woodwork. Supervise aluminum and glazing works, including doors, windows, sliding systems, curtain walls, pergolas, and entrance doors. Take accurate site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation. Read, interpret, and coordinate architectural, shop, and fabrication drawings. Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and installation crews. Monitor site progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays. Conduct inspections, prepare snag lists, and ensure timely completion of rectification works.<br>Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in fit-out, joinery, aluminum, or related interior construction projects. Strong experience in site supervision, installation coordination, and quality control.
