Overview<br><br>The role will be required to support in implementing all aspects of the planning, scheduling and reporting activities pertaining to the delivery of a large Programme for Qatar. The position is responsible implementing all the tasks related to planning, scheduling and reporting consistently across the Programme.<br><br>Your role<br><br>Investigate and identify the administration of the existing project control systems used to manage PWA projects and services. Propose optimum utilization of Human and Technological resources including arranging and facilitating trainings of staff on Project Controls software, tools, credentials and associated electronic processes as the need arises. Examine and report on the roles and efficiencies of Consultants, Project Managers and Contractor in line with contractual requirements and best professional standards. Review the Contractor's claim that need expert opinion, as and when required.<br><br>About You<br><br>Mandatory requirements<br><br>University degree from a recognised university in Engineering or equivalent. Chartered status or Professional License from internationally recognized professional institutions or organizations. Minimum of 20 years postgraduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes, preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience, 10 years in similar position, and 5 years in Qatar and / or the Gulf region. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> About the job F-4294-1-Q - Commissioning Lead (Process) <p>Qualifications*</p><br><p>Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.</p><br><p><strong>Knowledge and/or Experience:-</strong></p><br><p> 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil &amp; Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.<br> Knowledge and experience in discipline Hook-Up and Commissioning delivery processes and associated project phases, familiar with completions walkdowns and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.<br> In depth knowledge of Process design, risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues, ensuring deliverables are compliant with project requirements.<br> Knowledge of flow assurance, hydrostatic and nitrogen leak testing, hook-up and commissioning activities.<br> Knowledge in performance testing of gas turbine compressors to ensure design specs are met.<br> Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.<br> Experience with Oil &amp; Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.<br> Expert in reading P&amp;IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.<br> Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and systems completion.<br> Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.<br> Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.<br> Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.<br>Experience in start-up support to Operation.</p><br> <p><strong>Technical and Business Skills:-</strong></p><br><p> Strong organizational, leadership, coordination, planning, interface and technical judgment skills.<br> Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.<br> Able to identify and analyse complex issues and provide recommendations. Prepare contingency plans for unexpected scope changes (pro-active, forward-looking)<br> Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English, with strong teamwork facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.<br> Strongly Client focused with strong problem-solving skills.<br> Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, advanced computer literacy.<br> Knowledge of worldwide vendors and contractors.<br> Good communication and influencing skills.<br> Willing and able to travel as required.</p><br> <br> <br> </div>
