** PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES **<br>Job Summary and Purpose<br>Supervise, Oversee and manage dimensional control survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.<br><br>Accountabilities:<br>Develop, plan, and implement dimensional survey programs in accordance with project specifications and schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment. Review and interpret project drawings, models, and specifications to prepare a comprehensive Dimensional Control / Measurement Plan, identifying intervention points in coordination with the Project Quality Lead. Plan and execute surveying and dimensional verification activities for fabrication, assembly, and installation phases, ensuring all mating interfaces (fabrication, marine, structural, piping, and module connections) are accurately measured and that “best-fit” alignment scenarios are evaluated and established. Ensure strict adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection & Test Plan (DC ITP) at all stages of project execution and update the plan to incorporate design revisions or scope changes. Review, validate, and formally approve dimensional control reports, submitting them to the Project Lead or Client Representative as required. Maintain detailed and traceable records of all dimensional inspections, survey data, and control activities in accordance with project and company documentation standards. Manage and track all Dimensional Control (DC) survey requests, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and clear reporting of results. Verify that all surveying instruments and equipment (e.g., Leica, SOKKIA, Topcon) are calibrated, certified, and within validity before use. Ensure all Dimensional Control personnel are working with the latest approved drawings and project specifications (AFC status). Liaise and coordinate with Client Discipline Representatives, production team, Quality Inspectors, and Fabrication Leads to resolve dimensional discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements. Supervise and mentor Sr./dimensional controllers, providing guidance, training, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables. Promote teamwork and effective communication between fabrication, installation, and survey teams to achieve dimensional accuracy and schedule compliance. Employee should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work Environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs, and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice. Proficient in Auto CAD and other drafting/design software.<br><br>Experience:<br>Minimum 6 years of total experience in surveying, dimensional control, and alignment activities within EPIC / EPC industrial projects. At least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role overseeing dimensional control teams, coordinating survey operations, and ensuring compliance with project quality standards. Extensive hands-on experience with precision surveying and measurement equipment such as SOKKIA, Leica, Topcon, or equivalent instruments. Demonstrated expertise in the surveying and dimensional verification of structural assemblies, piping spools, and modular components during fabrication and installation stages. Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings, piping isometrics (ISO), GA drawings, and fabrication layouts. We are hiring for our Client: Senior Projects Engineer<br>The Senior Projects Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering all capital projects , including unit renovations, building developments, and capital improvement works. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, from design and tendering through construction and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards under the direct supervision and guidance of the Capital Projects Manager. The position plays a critical role in preserving asset value, supporting operational efficiency, and enabling growth.<br> Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:Project Planning & Capital Program Management:o Manage planning and execution of unit-level renovations to ensure fast turnaround of vacated units where required per PM team requirements an coordination and support of FM team.o Develop and manage the overall capital projects program aligned with THE CLIENT’s priorities.o Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in coordination with internal stakeholders.o Establish detailed project schedules, timelines, milestones, initial estimates, establish business case for all capital works.o Ensure project plans support operational requirements and minimize disruption to tenants. Design, Tendering & Procurement Management:o Manage the design development process, including coordination with consultants and technical teams.o Oversee and manage preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.o Manage the tendering process, including evaluation of bids and contractor selection.o Supervise the Contract Specialist in preparing and negotiating construction and renovation agreements.o Ensure procurement activities comply with THE CLIENT procurement policies and governance frameworks. Construction & Project Execution Oversight:o Oversee execution of construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects, new design and construction projects.o Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to project scope, quality, and timelines.o Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.o Ensure proper coordination between contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.o Address project risks, delays, or technical issues proactively. Cost Control & CAPEX Management:o Manage and control the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget across all projects.o Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.o Review and recommend cost variations, change orders, and budget adjustments.o Implement cost control measures to prevent overruns and optimize project value.o Provide regular financial updates, project cost data and CAPEX reports. Quality Assurance & Asset Lifecycle Integration:o Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and technical specifications.o Minimize future maintenance issues through proper design and construction quality control.o Coordinate with the FM Manager to ensure projects align with long-term maintenance strategies.o Ensure proper handover of completed assets, including documentation and as-built records.o Support lifecycle planning by recommending improvements and upgrades to existing assets. Regulatory Approvals & Stakeholder Coordination:o Coordinate with government authorities and liaison officers to obtain required permits and approvals.o Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.o Coordinate with internal departments such as FM, Property Management, Finance, and Legal as required for the execution of projects.o Manage communication with external stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and authorities.o Ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are fulfilled throughout the project lifecycle.
