This role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and structural elements are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics, directly impacting the guest experience.<br><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><strong>Routine Maintenance &amp; Repairs:</strong> Repair broken furniture, doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall, and wooden flooring in guest rooms and public areas.<br></li><li><strong>Installation &amp; Construction:</strong> Build and install new shelving, cabinets, drywall, trim, molding, and framework as required for hotel renovations or upgrades.<br></li><li><strong>Hardware Maintenance:</strong> Repair and replace door locks, hinges, closers, handles, and automatic door mechanisms.<br></li><li><strong>Preventative Maintenance (PM):</strong> Participate in the hotel’s PM program, systematically inspecting guest rooms and public spaces to identify and fix structural or cosmetic woodwork issues before they affect guests.<br></li><li><strong>Event &amp; Banquet Support:</strong> Assist the events team by building, modifying, or repairing stages, props, partitions, and specialized signage for conferences and banquets.<br></li><li><strong>Safety &amp; Compliance:</strong> Ensure all work complies with local building codes, fire regulations, and occupational safety standards (OSHA).
