CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (PIPING) – QATAR <br><br>Qualification<br><br>Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized University. Preferably having formal training in QA/QC functional aspects.<br><br>Experience<br><br>Candidate shall be a safety leader. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years overall experience in piping construction (UG & AG), pressure testing, mechanical completion and construction of oil and gas facilities. Experience as an EPIC Contractor supervisor is essential. Experience as a Client or PMC supervisor is preferred. Current experience in State of Qatar industrial cities and/or other GCC countries is required. Piping inspection and rotating equipment experience is an advantage, and inspection coordination experience in the. Extensive knowledge of international and industry specific piping codes and standards, including ASME, ANSI B31.3 & B31.1, SHELL DEP’s, etc. Piping, Welding / NDT inspector certificates (AWS / ASNT / CSWIP / API) would be an advantage. Extensive experience in pipe coating systems and procedures, incl painting, galvanizing, wrapping, insulation, etc. BGAS certification would be an advantage.
