<p>Job Description – Supervisor (Static Equipment)</p><p>Position</p><p><strong>Supervisor – Static Equipment</strong></p><p>Industry</p><p><strong>Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Shutdown Projects</strong></p><p>Job Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Supervise and coordinate maintenance, inspection, installation, dismantling, and repair activities related to <strong>static equipment</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Handle equipment such as <strong>pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, drums, boilers, and related piping systems</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower according to project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Supervise <strong>opening, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, and box-up</strong> of static equipment.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with <strong>Mechanical, QA/QC, Inspection, Scaffolding, Rigging, HSE, and Operations teams</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all work is carried out according to approved <strong>method statements, drawings, procedures, and client specifications</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for daily activities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper execution of <strong>bolting, gasket replacement, flange management, valve-related activities, and equipment maintenance</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Supervise <strong>rigging and lifting activities</strong> related to static equipment in coordination with the lifting team.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with <strong>PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, confined-space, gas testing, and other safety requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow all applicable HSE procedures.</p></li><li><p>Monitor work progress and prepare daily progress reports.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the client/contractor representatives regarding work fronts, priorities, and technical issues.</p></li><li><p>Identify site problems and coordinate with engineers and relevant departments for timely resolution.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the worksite.</p></li><li><p>Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.</p></li></ul><p>Key Equipment Experience</p><p>Candidates should have experience working with one or more of the following:</p><ul><li><p>Pressure Vessels</p></li><li><p>Heat Exchangers</p></li><li><p>Columns / Towers</p></li><li><p>Reactors</p></li><li><p>Storage Tanks</p></li><li><p>Drums</p></li><li><p>Boilers</p></li><li><p>Condensers</p></li><li><p>Filters</p></li><li><p>Static Mechanical Equipment</p></li></ul><p>Required Skills & Experience</p><ul><li><p>Relevant experience in <strong>Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Shutdown Projects</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in <strong>static equipment maintenance and shutdown activities</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ability to supervise a large workforce and multiple work fronts.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of <strong>PTW and industrial safety procedures</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and understand <strong>equipment drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance procedures</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Good coordination and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and meet shutdown/project deadlines.</p></li><li><p><strong>Gulf/Oil & Gas experience preferred.</strong></p></li><li><p>Relevant technical qualification or trade certification preferred.</p></li></ul><p>Safety Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Strictly follow company and client HSE policies.</p></li><li><p>Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.</p></li><li><p>Verify work permits and required safety controls before starting work.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with confined-space, working-at-height, lifting, and isolation procedures.</p></li><li><p>Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Candidate</p><br><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Experience: 5–10+ years in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Shutdown projects, with relevant supervisory experience in static equipment.</p>
<p>The job requires Male applicants. Minimum of 5 years working experience is required for this position</p><p>Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnostic activities related to the following system:</p><ul><li>Chillers</li><li>Process Area of FCU, AHU, and Ventilation System</li><li>Refrigerant recovery, recycling and purifying System</li></ul><p>On case-to-case basis, to execute maintenance tasks such as (but not limited to) disassembly, assembly, observation, troubleshoots, repairs, tests, data collection of another static and rotating equipment or other devices according to written or verbal instruction from Supervisor in a professional and efficient manner, complying with the safety rules and regulations as needed.</p><p>Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors.</p><p>Performing routine tests, such as checking for leaks, verifying system pressures, Nitrogen charging.</p><p>Performing routine of chiller maintenance, such as condenser and evaporator end covers opening and closing, provides support to perform heat exchanger chemical cleaning, swabbing, ECT etc.</p><p>Performing routine of chiller maintenance, refrigerant transfer, reclaim, oil extract from refrigerant.</p><p>Performing refrigerant recycling and purification activity and provide support to superior on managing, handling and storing refrigerants and other inert gas such as nitrogen within the plants.</p><p>Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, and other predictive maintenance techniques.</p><p>Knowledge of how to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and cleaning heat exchanger tubes.</p><p>Understanding how to monitor and log key operating parameters to anticipate maintenance needs.</p><p>Knowledge of environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling and disposal.</p><p>Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work.</p><p>Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables either from internal store or external location.</p><p>Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company.</p><p>Maintain proper tools, PPE s, Spares and provide annual requirements.</p><p>Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of business continuation and safety concerns.</p><p>Work effectively with other team members, including engineers, supervisors, and external vendors.</p><p>Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and procedures as technology evolves.</p><p>Where applicable, provide assistance and support to other team members, whenever required.</p><p>Participate in QC provided training as deemed fit by management.</p><p>Perform any other related duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor, in accordance with the provisions of the labor law.</p><p>Adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures for Mechanical and electrical assets related to chiller plant.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Candidates must have at least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate</p>
